This was my second stay at Dar Afram and I came back for a reason! Saadia is so kind hearted and welcoming — she radiates good vibes. Nezha is lovely and gave us a warm welcome, and the riad itself is well decorated, cheerful, and cute, with a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was always tasty. Definitely recommend this chill, charming Riad in the heart of Essaouira. Shukran Saadia and Nezha!

Annonce trompeuse : à aucun moment il n’a été indiqué par écrit, ni dans la réservation, que la salle de bain et les toilettes se trouvaient sur le palier. Malgré notre réclamation, nous n’avons obtenu aucune solution satisfaisante. Aucun remboursement. Établissement à éviter absolument.

Riad non adatto a coppie con bimbi, e nemmeno a persone un po' agie.

La location . La stanza era piccolissima, senza finestra e per accedere alla stanza devi fare una rampa di scale molto ripida. Per accedere al roof, dove veniva servita la colazione, devi assorbiti diverse rampe di scale, molto ripide, senza ringhiera.

Tutte queste scale ripide, senza ringhiera. La struttura obsoleta, l' assenza di una finestra in camera

Location was excellent! Close to the Medina and the ocean. The staff (Sadia, Mounia) are incredibly friendly, welcoming and kind. The property is beautifully designed and the rooms were very clean & equipped with all you need! Would highly recommend a stay here.

An authentic Riad well located at western end of the Medina with all activities close by and friendly and helpful staff.

Stairs, if you have mobility issues be aware as others have mentioned there are many.

La atención del personal. Nadia es una persona excelente que hace lo posible para que la estancia en el riad sea excepcional. Estuvimos muy bien y nos trataron estupendamente. Esta todo impecable, el desayuno muy rico y la ubicación es perfecta.

家族3人で一泊しました！お部屋もかわいくて、屋上からは海が眺められます。朝食を早い時間に設定してもらったのですが、朝日を見てからのおいしい朝食はとても贅沢でした。まちの雰囲気もゆったりしていて、とても気に入りました。もっと滞在すれば良かったと後悔。宿のマダムも素敵な方で会うたびに笑顔で声をかけて私たちを気にかけてくれました。また再訪したいです。

An amazing riad! It’s close to everything, yet still a bit hidden so it’s peaceful and away from noise, like a hidden pearl🥰 The place is beautiful and truly gives you a real sense of Morocco. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful. They made it feel like a home away from home! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal and authentic experience in Morocco. If we go to Essaouira again, we will definitely be coming back here!/ Tilda, Isabella and Alaina

Reservé porque ponía que tenían 24 horas de recepción. Cuando llegué nadie me atendió ni a la puerta ni a las llamadas. Más tarde mediante Booking me dijeron que estaba cerrado, pero sin embargo el pago estaba hecho y la reserva aceptada. Mucho cuidado que te dejan tirada en la calle en plena noche.

The riad itself is full of charm and colour. My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The hostess, Sadia, is so warm and welcoming and makes delicious breakfasts which you can enjoy up on the roof terrace overlooking the sea 🙂

Le Riad est bien situé dans la médina et à côté des remparts. Saadia est au top, très accueillante et super gentille et attentionnée. Les petits déjeuners sont très bon. Nous avons pris un repas préparé par Saadia, qui était excellent .

Me encantó este Riad. Muy bien ubicado, el personal amabilísimo, muy atentos con todo lo que necesitábamos y nos facilitaron mucho nuestra estancia. Nos recomendaron sitios que visitar, restaurantes donde comer y tiene unas vistas en la terraza muy bonitas desde donde puedes ver el mar y Essaouira.

Todo nos gustó.

We booked a last minute accomodation and we found this nice riad, exceptionally located in the centre of Essauira. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Room was very clean and spacious. Great quality- price for an adventure in Marocco!

Mon séjour au Riad a été tout simplement incroyable. Je m’y suis sentie comme chez moi, avec une liberté totale et une sérénité rare. Saadia a été pour moi comme une grande sœur, et je remercie également le propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et son accueil. Le calme du lieu m’a permis de vraiment me reposer… j’avais l’impression de dormir dans les nuages. Une expérience inoubliable que je recommande vivement !

We had the most wonderful stay at this magnificent Riad of Saira and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with extraordinary warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always attentive, caring, and smiling. We felt incredibly well looked after throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was simply exceptional, generous, fresh, and delicious, served with great care and love, making every morning a real moment of pleasure. The rooms are beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, calm, and perfectly maintained, offering a true haven of peace after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of this riad is without a doubt the rooftop. The view over the sea is absolutely stunning and magical, especially at sunrise and sunset. Spending time there, enjoying the atmosphere and the beauty of the surroundings, is an unforgettable experience. Séjour très reposant dans la médina d'Essaouira....

L'accueil et la gentillesse de l'équipe gérant cet établissement : c'est un riad familial décoré de façon atypique, mêlant le local et l'artistique. On s'y sent bien, comme à la maison et en sécurité (j'y étais seule). Très bon petit déjeuner complet, préparé avec amour...... (on le sent), servi sur le rooftop quand le temps le permet. On y dort bien, le lit est confortable. La situation géographique est idéale dans la médina, à 50 m des remparts. Tout est accessible à pied (hammans, restos....). S'y promener, même le soir, ne pose pas de problème de sécurité. Un grand merci à Saadia, Abdul et leur famille.

The perfect place to unwind in Essaouira

The most beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. We couldn't recommend it enough! The photos are great but in reality its SO much nicer! We had breakfast on the terrace every morning and on our last evening we enjoyed a delicious cooked meal by Sadia, the host, that we ate with the owners Dorris and Abdul which made the stay even more special. If I ever return to Essaouira I will be sure to stay here again.

Riad très humide, froid et très sombre. Éclairage insuffisant dans les chambres dépourvues du moindre appareil de chauffage. Les chambres sont étroites, sans lumière naturelle. Escaliers très raides, comme des échelles meunières, dangereux. Salle de bain indigente, robinetterie. hors d'âge qui goutte. Wifi aléatoire. Nous avons été obligés de superposer des couettes pour ne pas avoir froid dans le lit. L'impression de vivre dans une cave. Il

The place is relaxed and friendly; one feels like at home The breakfast was very good, served at a lovely terrace; great start of the morning We once had dinner which was very nice too Location is central and quiet We needed a room with 2 beds and it was delivered; the room was was spacious

The single bed in our room had a fairly uncomfortable mattress The water pressure in shower was not great

The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful—we truly felt cared for every moment of our stay. They offered wonderful suggestions for things to do and see, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The riad itself was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable that it genuinely felt like home. And the food was absolutely amazing. We loved every part of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Nydelig sted over all forventning. Vakker Riad hvor man føler seg hjemme fra første sekund. Både eier og personale tok oss imot med en varme som ikke var forventet. Kommer veldig gjerne tilbake. Anbefales på det varmeste å bo her hvis du skal til Essaouira. Nydelig frokost på Mamma Mia takterassen hvor det også er mulig å nyte sol og havsutsikt☀️😎

Sedya, die de risd runt, is fantastisch. Het ontbijt op het dakterras was bijzonder lekker eh het uitzicht, vooral bij zonsopgang maakte het tot een onvergetelijke ervaring. Onze kamer was gezellig ingericht en brandschoon. De douche heerlijk warm. Heerlijke douchegek en shampoo. Verder ligt de riad midden in de medina, maar is het ‘s nachts echt stil.
