Schönes Riad zentral gelegen mit Dachterasse mit Meerblick. Gutes Frühstück.

Eines unserer beiden Zimmer war extrem klein und das Bett sehr hart.

La colazione, ci hanno fatto un servizio lavanderia gratis, ci hanno preparato la colazione alle 5,30 di mattina perché dovevamo partire alle 6. La signora che gestisce il Riad ci ha dato ottimo consigli per ristoranti e locali della città.

La terrazza ha una vista molto bella, con sedie e sdraio, suggerisco di creare zone con ombra e di pulirla più spesso visto che il vento che viene dall'oceano è fortissimo e porta di tutto, anche sporcizia

Un Riad per gli arabi, non standard europei…

La terrazza. Anche se era inutile andarci dato il vento mortale. La signora delle colazioni era l’unica sorridente e gentile.

La stanza puzzava di muffa ed era molto umida. Le lenzuola erano molto basic e macchiate. Non mi hanno mai rifatto la stanza, e mai svuotato il cestino nel bagno.

Un séjour dépaysant et reposant dans un lieu plein de charme.

Le petit déjeuner était parfait. Le personnel du Riad a l'écoute et très attentionné.

Le vol retour annulé suite à la grève du personnel d'EasyJet. Les solutions proposées par cette compagnie n'étant acceptable (départ d'un autre aéroport 3 ou 4 jours après celui que nous avions choisi initialement pour des contraintes professionnelles et personnelles), nous nous sommes débrouillés à nos frais avec une autre compagnie.

Ein sehr typisch marokkanisches Riad. Ich hatte ein sehr schönes grosses Zimmer. Das Riad ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Ich habe jede Nacht sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück war für mich perfekt, mehr braucht es nicht. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Gerne komme ich wieder.

i thought we had 2 twin, they split the king and remade it. They were renovating the roof top so breakfast was downstairs. We did not try to use their refrigerator or kitchen facilities which appeared to be on the ground floor. I had wrenched my knee and they helped with my bag. They did my laundry so I did not access their machine

I appreciated the authenticity of the riad. The stone floors leading up to the rooftop terrace, the carved wooden doors, and the Moroccan artefacts on the walls. The rooms are very traditional. You get a true sense of Moroccan culture. If you're looking for TVs and modernity, this is not the place for you. It is a reflection of the historical significance of the old medina in Essaouira. The rooftop has an attractive lower deck, and the upper deck has amazing panoramic views. It is still under construction, but it didn't prevent me from using it when the wind was less keen. The staff were gentle and kind and allowed me to stay there a few days longer. The riad was very clean.

The breakfast area felt a little bit like a sanitarium. It was slightly gloomy, and I ate out on a couple of occasions instead. I wasn't keen on the plastic foliage and plants throughout the riad, but it could be because of the lack of natural sunlight inside the property. I have only stayed in riads in Marrakech, where the courtyards are adorned with beautiful greenery. Perhaps the climate in Essaouira doesn't allow for an abundance of flora and fauna.

L’humidité et les travaux sur le rooftop

Das eher traditionelle Riad liegt in einer ruhigen Gasse nah an der Stadtmauer. Es ist eines der höheren Gebäude, deswegen hat man auch einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer von der großen Dachterrasse. Diese wird gerade erweitert, damit man sich auch bei stärkerem Wind dort aufhalten kann. Mein Zimmer lag auf der Terrasse mit 2 Fenstern nach außen. Es war ganz komfortabel und hatte eine Tür zum Bad. Die Handtücher wurden nach 2 Tagen gewechselt. Das Frühstück war wie in anderen Riads, hier gab es Amlou und Schmelzkäse dazu, sowie ein gekochtes Ei oder Omelette im Wechsel.

Ich war während des Festivals dort und habe dann einen dementsprechenden Preis bezahlt. Wäre der Preis immer so hoch, würde ich sagen, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht passt.

Excellent emplacement. La terrasse est en train d’être refaite face à la mer. Chambres propres bien agencées et décorées Service au top et arrangeant. J’avais mon vol tôt le matin, ils ont préparés un café pour 6:30.

A beautiful Riad and amazing people

The riad was beautiful and located in a nice location. The owners were very friendly and understood English and French well. The view from the terrace was stunning! They really helped me with my lost headphones, I appreciate it a lot! The breakfast was tasty and authentic and the tea was great too!

J’ai malheureusement été contrainte d’annuler ma réservation dès mon arrivée. Une odeur d’humidité très forte et particulièrement désagréable se dégageait des lieux, rendant le séjour impossible pour moi et ma famille. De plus, le mobilier et les équipements de l’établissement étaient dans un état peu satisfaisant et ne correspondaient pas à nos attentes. Le manque d’aération et de ventilation accentuait davantage l’odeur présente dans les locaux.

Déception concernant la ville et le Riad, Essaouira a perdu de sa superbe.

Emplacement dans la médina (même si celle ci est sans grand intérêt comparé à d’autres villes marocaines), personnel qui fait du mieux qu’il peut avec les équipements présents

Terrasse en mauvais état donc pas utilisée, c’est pourtant ce qui nous avait donné envie sur les photos. Et le problème c’est l’humidité : pas ou pas d’ouverture. Je n’aurai pas passé une seconde nuit ici. Asthmatique passez votre chemin.

Le riad est vraiment magnifique, propre et très bien placé dans la médina, nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour dans ce logement. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Petit déjeuner excellent, nous recommandons sans hésiter.

L'emplacement, la vue sur la mer ,le style de la chambre

Je n'ai pas rencontré le personnel il était absent pour le fête de l'Aïd et la personne de la réception avait malheureusement un décès Il 'n'y avait qu'une personne qui nous a accueilli et qui faisait le petit déjeuner (voisin)

Séjour très agréable !

Le riad est très bien situé, le personnel était très sympathique, les petits déjeuners étaient très bons (le meilleur amlou que j'ai goûté!). Le riad est très beau, la chambre également, et la terrasse sur le toit était très belle et la vue magnifique, malgré la présence de quelques travaux (pas dérangeants). J'y retournerai probablement !

Le linge de lit pourrait être changé et le matelas était très dur mais c'était le cas dans les autres riad où je suis allée.

Purtroppo c’era nella stanza odore di umido e non asciugato bene. Ma credo sia un problema di tutta la città, il clima è molto umido in generale e stando giusto davanti all’oceano direi che può essere anche normale.

Relaxing and comfortable

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this spacious riad with local architecture. The view from the terrace was simply incredible. Mohamed, who checked me in, was a very kind person.

Really dank room, lots of construction happening. Maybe some of it will alleviate room dankness. Dead flies and hair on lower sheet, so we slept on top of top sheet.

Le petit déjeuner peut être amélioré : œufs au plats ou brouillés, jus d’orange fraîchement pressé par exemple et pain traditionnel bienvenu

Muy buena ubicación, en la Medina pero en una zona tranquila. Cama muy cómoda, el baño perfecto con bañera y ducha a presión, agua caliente perfecta. El desayuno muy completo, típico marroquí. Purtroppo non siamo stati avvisati dei lavori di demolizione per ampliamento struttura che non ci hanno permesso di godere della terrazza sul tetto. Abbiamo dovuto concordare la sospensione dei lavori per la durata del nostro soggiorno.

Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Bäder sind sehr großzügig. Es gibt eine tolle Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Alles ist sehr sauber.

Manche Zimmer haben nur ein Fenster zum Innenhof.

La gentillesse et adaptabilité du personnel. J'étais prête à annuler la résa car des travaux à l'arrivée m'ont effrayé. Elles ont ete à l'écoute, prêtes à me rembourser a ma demande J'ai même pû choisir ma chambre, le petit dej du départ a été arrangé matinalement avant l'aéroport. Au final j'ai passé 2 nuits au calme et pû profiter de la splendide vue de la terrasse ! Merci de votre bienveillance. .

1001 Nacht, außergewöhnlich gutes marokkanisches Frühstück

Mir hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen, da es sehr hübsch dekoriert war. Es erinnerte so schön an 1001 Nacht. Sich der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön. Die Angestellten/Betreiber waren nett und kinderfreundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab sämtliche marokkanische Spezialitäten wie Amlou und M‘Semen, die wir in unserem Marokko-Urlaub kennen und lieben gelernt haben. Der Frühstücksbereich ist in Ordnung, nicht besonders. Wir haben jedoch in dem offenen Raum daneben gefrühstückt, der sehr hübsch war. Wir können die Unterkundt empfehlen und würden sie wieder buchen.

Die Klobrille war locker. Insgesamt wirkte das Zimmer zT schon etwas abgewohnt.

Die Lage des Riads ist fantastisch, in der Medina, aber trotzdem ruhig und von der Dachterrasse ein fantastischer Blick aufs Meer. Im Gebäude ist es ruhig und kühl und die Angestellten sind hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

durch die Nähe zum Meer ist es in den Zimmern ein bisschen feucht, wir würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen.

Considering it was my first riad experience, it was great

Moroccan breakfast was served at 9 am. We had a little difficulty communicating in English but the owners were very hospitable and warm. I had a great experience as a solo traveller and the location is good as well (nice view by the sea from the rooftop). It was sad I only had an overnight stay there! Will visit again. Thank you again.

Wir waren erneut in diesem wundervollen Riad. Fuzia hat uns herzlich empfangen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage am Meer bleibt unvergessen. Wir werden es weiter empfehlen.

Das Frühstück war vor zwei Jahren authentischer. Leider wurden uns die leckeren typisch marokkanischen baghrir nicht serviert.

Es wurde in den 4 Tagen nur einmal sauber gemacht , nur Handtücher täglich, aber Rochen nicht frisch. Lärmbelästigung durch Umbauarbeiten auf der Terrasse
