Homely riad in the medina.

Breakfast was fine; lovely homely vibe, friendly helpful staff. Room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Good location only a couple of minutes’ walk from the middle of the medina, yet very quiet and peaceful.

Tea and coffee making facilities only available in one room, as far as we could see.

Het hotel heeft veel trappen, dus niet zo handig als je slecht ter been bent. De gordijnen in kamer waren te kort waardoor niet alle licht tegengehouden werd.

It was ok and could be better

Staff were friendly. Ladies who arranged breakfast and cleaned the rooms and riad worked very hard and do a great job.

The location this end of town may not be liked by some as the riad is reached by several narow side streets, a much more 'local' area perhaps, groups of men gathered around food cafes and people selling 2nd hand goods laid out on the pavements made the journey a tad uncomfortable at times.

Das Hotel ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wird gepflegt und bedient wird man von super freundlichem Personal. Die Lage ist perfekt: Am Rande des Zentrums, wo die Riads entsprechend heller sind (da weniger kompakt gebaut).

Sehr schön mitten in der Medina aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Super schöne Zimmer, hell und unsere sogar mit Fenster nach Außen. Tolles Frühstück 🌞 Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier wohnen

Staff were charming and helpful. Room was adequate and reasonably comfortable. Kettle provided on request. Towels changed everyday and room made up

Flooring in room. Tiles a bit uncomfortable and felt a little grubby.

Le séjour a été très agréable, au rythme de la médina et à proximité des habitants très courtois.

La gentillesse du personnel, le côté typique du bâtiment, vivre au centre de la médina.

The location was indeed convenient

The room had a bad smell and it wasn’t too clean. The pictures of the breakfast didn’t corrisponde to the reality. Not the warm welcome you would expect in Marocco.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, Das Zimmer der Kinder hatte Fenster nach außen, es war größer und schöner als das elternzimmer

Wir hatten leider das Pech kleines dunkles Zimmer direkt bei Treppe zu bekommen- Fenster zum Gang konnte nicht ganz verdunkelt werden, war hellhörig.

This is an elegant and comfortable hotel in a good location. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Location is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unique building. Great breakfast with the strongest coffee I had in Morocco. Like the picture shows this is a tall, circular building with 8 rooms. We were on the top floor. I didn't count the steps but there are A LOT. I huffed and puffed my way up. By the 3rd day it was much easier, but if you're out of shape (like me) be forewarned. I'm not sure this place could accommodate someone with mobility challenges. I didn't see any rooms on the bottom floor. They did help bring our bags up and down. Bless. I would have died. Surprisingly quiet. Comfortable beds. Our room had 1 king and a twin to accommodate our family traveling with our adult child. I liked that the shower and sink were separate from the toilet. Someone could shower leaving the toilet free. The toilet room had a door. The shower room had a curtain separating it from the rest of the room. Still felt private because the shower is built in such a way that it can't be seen even with the curtain open. Easy walk to all the activities of the Essaouira medina. Lots of light from the windows which we opened to listen to the call to prayer Very helpful and friendly staff! Accessible via Whatsapp and providing us with recommendations.
