Such a Wondeful Experience in the Medina

I had a wonderful stay at Riad El Yacout. The riad is absolutely beautiful, full of traditional Moroccan charm and stunning architecture. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very peaceful. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality of the staff, who were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was perfect for exploring the medina of Fes. I highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay in Morocco.

Fantastische Riad om Fes te ontdekken!

De riad heeft de perfecte ligging om de stad Fes te ontdekken. Makkelijk vindbaar bij aankomst, maar ook telkens dichtbij de verzamelplaatsen om op daguitstap te gaan of een gidstour te doen. Personeel is extreem vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was super uitgebreid en lekker. Prachtig gebouw en binnentuin.

Lovely Riad in the Medina, good location

Riad El Yacout is a beautiful, traditional riad in the Medina of Fes. The rooms and all of the riad have the old world Moroccan look and feel that is so romantic. The room we had on the first floor was large and comfortable. The pool is a lovely setting and although too cold to swim in May, we enjoyed a beer sitting around the pool, The breakfast was wonderful, actually too much food, but the hospitality and the service were great. We were able to walk to the souk in the evening from the hotel without feeling nervous. Riad El Yacout is very close to the blue gate. Highly recommend this beautiful riad with wonderful staff. Fun fact - U2’s 2009 album No Line on the Horizon was recorded in part at Riad El Yacout in Fez, Morocco, during May 2007 sessions for the World Sacred Music Festival

Wow, what a beautiful Riad. True authenticity at its best. The most welcoming and friendly staff met our every need throughout our stay. Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfasts in the courtyard and overall peace and tranquility was the order of the day. And that pool, so very inviting

Perfection

Ons verblijf in Riad Yacout was werkelijk onvergetelijk. Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, werden we ondergedompeld in pure rust en authenticiteit. De riad is prachtig ingericht met oog voor detail, een echte oase midden in de drukte van Fez. Het personeel was ontzettend gastvrij en behulpzaam, altijd met een glimlach. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en vers, en de sfeer voelde meteen als thuis. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie Fez op een unieke manier wil beleven. Extra dank aan Yahyah, de gerant, voor de warme ontvangst en uitstekende service.

Unique and special stay

Incredible! Riad El Yacout is gorgeous and the staff are incredible. We stayed for two nights. Family of 4 including two should, two teens. The common areas are beautiful and rooms comfortable. I cannot say enough good things. Our whole family agreed we wanted to live at Riad El Yacout!

My 3 night stay in Fes

As part of a tour group we spent three nights here. The rooms were all different and each spectacular. The staff were warm and very accommodating. One member of their staff, Marco was outstanding. Always willing to go the extra mile to grant any request. The food and Moroccan tea were outstanding.

Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Fes

Where to begin, every aspect of our stay at this fabulous Riad was exceptional. From the moment we arrived the team took care of everything making sure we were comfortable. Special mention to Marcos, so cheerful and wants to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Once he found out I enjoyed their special lemon, honey tea, without me even asking delivered one to our room every morning. Breakfast was included with our stay and consisted of a good choice of pastries, cheese, yogurt, and scrambled eggs.. Dinner here was also very good and we enjoyed performance by a musician. Our room was one of the biggest we have ever stayed in.. one fun fact U2 recorded their music video Magnificent here. Would not hesitate to return here

Staying here with such a lovely experience! One of the hosts, Marco, made us truly feel at home. He was so fantastic with our three teenagers as well. So informative, always a smile on his face, and making sure that we had everything that we needed. Amazing hospitality! This location was also great. The Riad itself was so beautiful and ornate. You could take pictures from every angle as it was so gorgeous. The breakfast was plentiful! And even eggs to order! Thank-you to the staff of this Riad!!

Our stay at Riad El Yacout was nothing short of magical and truly made our trip to Morocco unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. I could not speak more highly of Marcos (the 17th haha) and Mohammad, I wish they could join us an all of our vacations, our stay here would not have been the same without them. The architecture and details created a serene oasis, blending traditional Moroccan elegance with luxurious comfort. Every detail — from the beautifully designed rooms to the exquisite dining experiences — exceeded our expectations. Waking up to the peaceful atmosphere each morning set the perfect tone for exploring Fez, and returning in the evening felt like coming back to paradise. Riad El Yacout didn’t just provide a place to stay; it elevated our entire journey and turned a wonderful vacation into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The building was beautifully kept and was a well preserved riad-very authentic! It was visually a feast for the eyes. The staff were brilliant especially Marcus and the Mohammeds.

A Stunning Palace with Exceptional Hospitality!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Riad El Yacout. The Riad itself is breathtaking—it is incredibly ornate and beautifully laid out, making you feel like you are staying in a true Moroccan palace. The location is perfect, situated just a short two-minute walk from the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), which made exploring the Medina very convenient. The rooms were also a wonderful surprise; they are impressively spacious and provided a comfortable retreat after a busy day. A special mention must go to our host, Marcos, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He catered to our every request and ensured we were comfortable at all times. Marcos is extremely friendly and watches over his guests like they are his own family. We felt so safe and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Impressive Riad in a great location

The main building with reception, breakfast and dinner, is stunningly beautiful. The staff tries really hard, and we appreciated them very much. Good location near the Blue Gate, which made it easier to find our way around. I highly recommend using an offline map on your cellphone, like Organic Maps, to find your way in the old city. The hotel provided excellent transfers from the train station to the Riad and from the Riad to the airport.

J ai réservé un massage. Très déçu par la salle de massage qui est vraiment basique et pas jolie du tout. Massage ok mais pas belle expérience .. Le guide réservé par l’hôtel a essayé de nous arnaquer du début à la fin. Il ne nous a rien appris.. nous a fait courir dans la médina pour voir des boutiques d argan ou de tapis (proposés 10 fois s plus chers) alors qu on était intéressé par l’architecture.. sans intérêt.. passez par l’office de tourisme ..

Amazing introduction to Riad

This is the first ever Riad we stayed in during our 8 Nights 9 Days trip in Morocco. It was very charming. It’s in a great location. Staff especially rapper Marcus was wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful. Should you choose to have dinner at the Riad, they will make it for you. We have had pleasant two nights here and we highly recommend it.

A stunning Moroccan riad!

When visiting Morocco, you really should stay in a riad for at least one night. It offers a unique cultural charm and a private, cool oasis within the bustling medina. One challenge, however, is that the medina is largely a pedestrian area, making many riads inaccessible by car and difficult to find — even with Google Maps. We chose this riad mainly because of its ideal location, just a five-minute walk from Batha Square. This riad showcases stunning Moroccan features, including intricate tilework (zellij), carved cedarwood, traditional Moroccan furniture, detailed plasterwork, and a classic inward-facing design. While some areas of Riad El Yacout show noticeable wear, that only adds to its retro character — exactly what a great riad should have. Upon our arrival, Marcos shared interesting history about the riad and added a personal touch to our stay by showing us all its historic features and serving traditional Moroccan breakfasts. Prestations supplémentaires sur place à prix excessifs ( notamment le hammam dans le riad que nous avons testé sur place pour 55 euros par personne pour "juste" un gommage de 30minutes, nous avons été déçus de ce rapport qualité prix pas à la hauteur). Et juste pour iinfo, la piscine intérieur n'est pas chauffée (très fraîche en novembre)

Hospitality and authenticity at its best

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt welcome. Mr Marcos and his staff greeted us with genuine attention. A fresh cup of mint tea upon arrival, every question was answered with patience and kindness, and I truly felt that nothing was too much to ask. Special attention for all our needs at the already plentiful and varied breakfast. Also to help arranging transport, the staff was always ready. The rooms and the swimming pool were not only clean and comfortable but also radiated authentic style. This riad is really TOP in its category. To put in a nutshell: this Riad is a place where hospitality is a daily practice. An absolute recommendation for anyone who values genuine service and a warm atmosphere.

Our home away from home in Fèz

After a disappointing stay in another Riad in Fèz, we moved to Riad El Yacout for a very memorable and wonderful stay at the end of our business week in Fèz and Tanger. After having stayed 2 nights, we profoundly want to thank manager Mr Marcos and his entire team for their state of art professionalism. A true example of authentic Moroccan hospitality. The Riad is a unique building, located at the entrance of the Fèz Medina (which is very convenient for transportation to the business areas outside the Medina area). The Riad is big, with plenty of beautiful corners and relaxing spots. We never had the feeling of being in and around the buzzing Medina. Without any doubt, this will be our "home away from home" when we are back in Fèz for business (and leisure). Shukran bezaf Mr Marcos and the whole team.

Le cadre est magnifique et le Riad très bien situé aux abords de la Médina

Le prix est absolument prohibitif et pour une qualité de service qui est sans aucune commune mesure avec la catégorie de prix. Chaque demande aussi insignifiante soit-elle doit être formulée à de nombreuses reprises, mais n'est jamais satisfaite. Le personnel et très gentil et souriant, mais guère efficace. Le service est au niveau d'une sympatique auberge, mais absolument au niveau d'un hôtel de grand luxe comme on peut s'y attendre au vu du prix payé. J'ai demandé 6 fois une facture par e-mail, j'attends toujours....

le charme de Fès

ce riad se situe en lisière de la médina pas loin de la porte bleue cette situation est très pratique quand on arrive avec ses bagages, on rejoint facilement l'entrée du riad sans devoir marcher avec ses valises dans les ruelles de la médina le riad est magnifique avec ses zéliges, le marbre .... le patio s'élance sur plusieurs étages les chambres sont bien mais certaines sont petites (celle de notre fils) notre chambre avait un petit salon bien pratique tout en zéliges et un plafond splendide très travaillé le personnel est top aux petits soins avec vous la réception peut s'occuper de l'organisation d'excursion, etc

attention nous on a adoré ce riad et la ville de Fès mais on est dans un riad au coeur de la médina pour ceux qui veulent avoir de grandes fenêtres avec une vue, ce n'est pas ici

There are much better places to stay in Fes for discerning independent travellers.

This is a conveniently located traditional Riad on the edge of the Fes Medina and has a high rating from guests - which is what led us to book. It appears primarily to be used by tour Groups who are on a package and presumably a lower room rate. Whilst the Riad is beautiful inside, big and clean and the staff super helpful the rooms are basic and not that comfortable.

The biggest disappoint was the food which has led to our low rating. We had dinner in the Riad on our first night after, and it was very expensive at over GBP50 per person inc drinks. The Menus are traditional and limited with not everything on offer. The quantity of Moroccan salad starters was way too much for 2 people and a waste, the main courses were no more than adequate in terms of quality. Breakfast was poor quality and you can get freshly baked bread and pastries, fruit and coffee less than a 5 mins walk away. The egg was inedible. As independent travellers this was a disappointing and expensive stay, GBP 250 per night (USD 340), at a hotel/riad that doesn’t show Fes at its best. Luckily we found some fabulous places to eat, drink and visit. We booked our guide and a Hamman independently of the hotel, both of which were brilliant, giving us the confidence to truly explore Fes which is an amazing place to experience and has much to offer its visitors.

Best Collette tour to-date. I would definitely recommend this tour. Very educational, lots to do and see. Friendly.

I stayed at the Riad El Yacout while vacationing. The Riad has beautiful decor, personality and is steeped in culture. The size of the mansion leaves you intrigued. Although the Riad is significantly spacious it is also charming and quaint. The food was delicious and convenient. The customer service was second to none. All the staff were very helpful. Riad employee- Marcos was terrific. He was engaging, funny and personable. He helped with all our needs, answered our questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Our stay at Riad El Yacout was nothing short of magical. It was everything we imagined Morocco to be. The architecture and design are stunning and our room was very spacious. Great start in Morocco

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. A great start to our trip in Morocco. What a beautiful hotel! Marcos and Hicham took our stay to the next level, with their jokes and personal attention. Everybody in the hotel took great care of us.

Riad in Fes very worthwhile, and a call out to Marcos...

The riad was a very interesting building. Each room or suite was different. Everything very comfortable. There were many places to explore. Food and service (including wife's trip to hammam) were excellent. I want to point out the friendly and excellent treatment we received from the entire staff, but especially to Marcos, who treated us like we were in his own home. Marcos also entertained us with his timely rapping!

This Riad hotel is very charmfull with Moroccan tradition. If you have some time, we suggest a massage which is one of the we have had. Excellent service from all the team specially from Marcos.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad El Yacout. Marcos was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond. Other staff members, including Mohammed, Hicham, and Omar, were also incredibly helpful and kind. Each morning, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating hammam bath and massage during our stay. Highly recommend!

Superstar staff in a beautiful riad

Our stay at Riad El Yacout has been better than I imagined. The staff are AMAZING. Marcos, Mohammed, and Omar are just a few of the super star staff who have gone out of their way to make sure our stay has been comfortable. The rooms, though all different in set up, are beautiful. We also experienced our 1st Hammam with a massage to follow. All in all, our stay exceeded my expectations.

Marcos was excellent. Always making sure that everything was okay. The hotel is so beautiful you feel like a princess (prince). Food was delicious,, you definitely get the flavors of Morocco. I recommend it. The whole staff was always ready to help you and make you feel at home.

Great Stay

Lovely staff and location. Najuaa, Marcos and Hicham made us feel so welcome even during the Eid period. The building itself is lovely with a beautiful courtyard. It is very well located with museums nearby and the medina only a few minutes walk. Can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent Riad, where Bono also stayed once

Thr facilities are excellent, very well maintained, although there were very few guests, the staff went beyond their way to accommodate preferences and upgraded my room.

The staff has forgotten I had booked a transfer on departure, and although tried to organise a new one, it didn't arrive and I ended up flagging a standard taxi at the nearby square.

We left after one night- the standard of bathroom was below youth hostel level.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

The room, and particularly the bathroom, were shockingly poor. Very bad shower that had no means of adjustment, so the water shot out horizontally above head height to the far side of the shower. Unpleasant toilet/chemical odour. No waste bin anywhere. Tiling that looks like it was done by a blind DIY person. Badly mounted mirror with old rawl plugs exposed. Extremely dilapidated furniture (coffee table falling apart). One very unpleasant looking dark maroon velour blanket on the bed (sheets were clean). Cigarette butts in ashtray (we are non-smokers) on balcony.

Exceptional, Highly Recommended

One of the best Riads that we experienced while travelling in Morocco with Collette vacations. The level of service was exceptional! Marcos and staff provided prompt efficient , friendly service and ensured our satisfaction at all times. The breakfasts and dinner we had there were wonderful. The location was excellent to get to the blue arch and old market. We had suite #20 and it was very luxurious. Without hesitation, we will be sure to recommend the Riyad Yacout in Fes Medina to friends and family.

Absolutely stunning

Absolutely stunning !.Tucked down a long alley. So well positioned for the medina and restaurants.The staff here seem to consist of about 4 people!!! The two gents who run the restaurant and just about everything else!! work so hard and never seem to have time off. Polite and attentive despite being crazy busy when the large parties all arrive at once..Really beautiful place-the best we stayed in throughout our tour.We absolutely LOVED Fes.Bedroom was huge, on split levels and easily accomodated 3 of us.Traditional decor- really super. Very cool everywhere.Huge underutilised rooftop space that they could do so much more with!. Only grumble was the plumbing in the bathroom which was poor.But lovely bathroom!

My Fes experience

Excellent service, friendly, great location. Everyone, especially Marcos, helpful and entertaining. The hamman and massage from the twin sisters really aligned my chokras. Food was very good and plentiful. Try to get the Bono or Queen room. You'll have to ask. Bring cash! They take cards by REALLY prefer Moroccan cash.

(Excessively) friendly staff and low cleanliness levels

The history and architecture of the hotel was interesting, with authentic Moroccan art/craftsmanship. The location is pretty decent, close to the old medina.

The room given to us lacked much light, and was poorly ventilated and bad smelling. The bathroom was not well cleaned, with open used soap bottles lying around and old, degraded appliances and fixtures. The toilet did not properly flush; water continuously poured throughout the night. Breakfast was seemingly large but lacking, with cheap bread and dry pancakes and yoghurts brought to the table, without vegetable or meat servings. The coffee mugs and plates were also not clean. Overall, not a good value for money

Aiming high but...

This large riad with 45 rooms are aiming high towards a full luxury hotel which may be a bit too high. The staff is however very active and attentive and you will feel seen when being in the public areas. It was a warm welcome. Breakfast is served with speed, but of the breakfasts we had on our trip, this was the least good of all in comparison. The room was good but not excellent even with the extra sitting area. A slushing sound of the water pipes (?) kept going all day and night around, wifi was spotty and the bed rather hard for my taste (slept good anyway after doing a lot of walking). They have an elevator but you still have to brave a few stair steps up and down. But the main feeling was that the hotel wanted so much for you to feel at home and welcome that it sort of became the opposite. I would probably try another hotel in Fez the next time.

A must see, best Riad in the medina

The service was impeccable! Marcos went above & beyond to make our stay not only enjoyable, but that he made us feel like family (checking on our desires & anticipating our every need). He assisted with moving our bags into our room when we arrived & left. All of the staff was extremely responsive & we were happy to show off the beautiful facilities to our tour mates that we met in the Medina. We would highly recommend & would definitely stay again on our next trip 💜

A "magnificent" place to stay!

Very impressing Riad with very friendly and helpful staff! Marcos was always friendly and helpful if we had questions! We can strongly recommend to everyone! And if you like the Band U2 - their video to the song "Magnificent" was recorded in this riad in 2007!

Great facility in a great location. We had the deluxe suite and it was exceptional. Very spacious and spotlessly clean and a very large and comfortable bed with a huge bathroom. The staff are excellent and always there to help. We were in Fes for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Loved walking through the Medina and the small alley ways with all the interesting stalls. It was always nice to go back to our Ryiad. Highly recommend Ryiad El Yacout, Fes.

Beautiful Riad with Amazing service!

Marcos and team really took care of our girl’s group. They were so friendly, attentive and full of energy. We had minor issues with our room and staff came right away to fix. The Riad El Yacout is beautiful, rooms are spacious, and well equipped, service is fantastic, food was delicious. I wish we had one more day there to hang by the pool and enjoy the spa! We loved our experience there and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for the best stay in Fez!

Girls Trip

A beautiful Riad! Amenities and staff were next level, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner was exceptional and the service from Marcos and his team was both professional and entertaining. Overall a real authentic Moroccan experience with all the comforts.

We stayed at Riad El Yacout for 3 nights. I don't think anything could have prepared us for the experience we had. It was completely magnificent; a once-in-a-lifetime. Elegance, class, and charm, all mixed into one classic Moroccan experience. The riad itself was stunning and very well kept. Every corner in perfect shape, with each room unique. There are so many details that you must go to see for yourself. We decided to use the hamam as a husband-wife couple. The ladies did a fabulous job of massage and bathing.  Top of my list of amazing things to say about Riad El Yacout, however, is Marco. From the moment we arrived and throughout, he made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. He went the extra mile, for sure. His infectious sense of humor is sprinkled on every interaction.  Because of Marco and the rest of the staff and so many awe-inspiring aspects of the riad itself, I can not recommend Riad El Yacout more.

We stayed here for two days as part of an organized tour of Morocco. The place is fabulous and a true experience of Morocco. The room decor and building are fabulous. The one person that made the experience outstanding was Marco. He was professional ensuring you had a great stay and went out of his way to make sure you were happy. He offered coffee to the room in the morning if you wished. He was funny yet very accommodating. He made our stay at this Riad. Thanks a million Marco and we wish you and your family all the very best.

First and foremost, the finest service and staff around! We are grateful to Marcos, Obama, Elias, Hassania, and all the staff behind the scenes who made our stay exceptional and memorable. The riad itself is beautiful and full of charm, the room was nicely sized, the bathroom and shower was very nice, and the riad is in a very convenient location. As two women travelers, we felt safe and very well taken care of. The food was delicious as well, albeit a bit pricey. Highly recommend this riad.

Amazing Moroccan Hospitality

We stayed at the Riad Yacout for three nights. Amazing Moroccan hospitality and very friendly staff. Our room on the main floor was very comfortable with a beautiful Moroccan touch. One of the staff made all the difference… Marcus stood out as going above and beyond and made our visit at the riad great. He is professional, always very attentive, pays attention to the little details and loves to entertain the guests. He made the difference between a good visit and a great visit at the riad! A hidden gem with excellent staff

We stayed at the Riad El Yacout for 3 nights. The experience was fantastic. The best part of the stay was service we received from the staff. From the time we walked in the door until we left they made our experience wonderful. Anything you need there were there to help and assist. Marco, Obama, and Hecham are their names and they are a true joy and a blessing to be encounter on our journey through Morocco. The food is excellent the beautiful building and rooms are clean and very comfortable. Could not have asked for better service or stay. So thankful we found this little gem!

Magnificent riad

This Riad is fit for a King! The rooms are so elegant. The staff are extremely gracious and kind, especially Marcos and Obama. An unbelievable and always cherished experience. A must stay while in Fes. The service that Marco and Obama provide during meals is outstanding. There isn't anything they won't do to accommodate your needs.

We had an excellent stay at this historic hotel. Never did we imagine this beautiful hotel would emerge from a narrow alley The rooms were more than spacious and very comfortable. Marcos and Mehdi entertained us with Bollywood songs I recommend it to anyone planning to visit this Moroccon city.

A memorable stay at Riad El Yacout

The Riad was a beautiful traditional home close to the Fez Medina. Marcos and Hischim were so accommodating and helpful. They were attentive to all our needs and we felt like family. On the first evening of our arrival, they served us a Moroccan meal that was exceptional - traditional Moroccan soup, at least 12 small plates of various appetizers, salad, chicken pastilla and 3 different tangines. We finished our many course dinner with a delicious dessert. What an introduction to the wonderful cuisine of Morocco. Restful Riad!

Truly an oasis in the center of Fes! We were greeted warmly with Moroccan mint tea and dinner even after a late arrival. Our accommodations were superb and the food and service were top notch. Best of all? Our friend Marcos made us feel 100% at home. Will be sending all our Moroccan-bound friends here!

Not up to the expectation.

Hospitality, location, hotel lobby decor. We booked the standard double room for 2 nights. First night we stayed in standard double room. Second night they upgraded us to Suit when we complained about the room and bathroom smell.

There was a weird smell in the bathrooms in both the rooms (may be because the property is very old). No mirror in the room (it is a small thing, but saves a lot of time when 2 or more people are sharing the room, don't have to block the bathroom to get ready). Normal Breakfast. Served the burnt omlette. We booked the standard double room and the room was not at all up to the standards of a 4 star property (for the price we paid). It was like 1 or 2 star hotel. I think the whole focus of the management is on hotel lobby and other things, not on the rooms. The pictures on the site for a standard double room does not match the actual. No parking. Parked the car on road, near the Riad and we paid extra for the parking. Not value for money.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. Wonderful experience with a very attractive staff. The building itself is amazing. Highly recommend and we will return.

Our family stayed here for two nights and it was extraordinary! Everyone was so gracious and willing to help us. If we come back to Fes, we’ll definitely stay here. The Riad is an arts and crafts beauty!

The riad is beautiful. I had a comfortable room, the service was more than friendly and went out of the way to help me get to my various trips, and even arranged a ride to the airport for me at 5 am. I didn't have the pleasure of dining there for anything more than breakfast, but even that was delicious.

★★★★★ Our stay at Riad El Yacout in Fez was unforgettable! Upon arrival, an employee kindly helped us locate the parking garage, setting the tone for the amazing hospitality we experienced. The staff here were the kindest and most helpful of our entire Morocco trip. The riad's stunning architecture and rich sense of tradition and history left us in awe—it's no surprise that the band U2 stayed here! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The riad is conveniently located near all the attractions we wanted to visit, and we easily walked to the tannery using Google Maps. Highly recommended for an authentic and welcoming experience in Fez!

Extraordinary riad! The core building is stunningly beautiful with many comfortable common areas and private ones, too (e.g., my room and a small sitting area on the balcony outside my doors). The staff were extraordinary -- my sincere thanks to (alphabetically, insofar as I can spell their names -- my apologies if I fail!) Abdul, Eliash, Hadim, Marcos, Nashua, Yeshem, and Zuhir -- not to mention the staff behind the scenes. Breakfasts were generous and tasty; dinner was wonderful; wine was available. Great location, too, for both foot and taxi exploration of Fez. Superb! Highly recommended!
