Gute Lage in der Medina, zu Fuß gibt es viel zu erkunden. Es ist ruhig und sauber. Der Garten schafft eine gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Das Personal, v.a die beiden Frauen, die das Frühstück herrichten waren sehr nett. Eines unserer Kinder war krank und sie haben sich mehrmals erkundigt, ob wir etwas brauchen. Das Frühstück war eines der besten, das wir während unserer Marokkorundreise hatten! Das Appartement war schön gross und direkt neben der Dachterrasse gelegen. Es hat einen Lift!

Das eine kleine Bett wurde wohl schon länger nicht mehr gebraucht und war daher etwas schmutzig, die Spannbettlaken waren zu klein für die Doppelmatratze. Das Appartement dürfte etwas liebevoller eingerichtet sein. (jammern auf hohem Niveau)

Ahmed amabilísimo tanto para responder a todas las consultas q le plantee antes de llegar como allí . Nos reservó restaurante la primera noche y nos acompañó taxi para llegada y salida . El desayuno muy ambuendante y rico El apartamento muy bien. Éramos 4 y tenía 1 habitación con dos camas y una cama matrimonio. El acceso un pelín incomodo sobre todo para la persona q duerme pegada a la pared. El colchóncómodo .

Cosillas a comentar - habitacio. Matrimonio. Incomodo entrar y salir de la cama el q duerme pagado a la pared. El aseo,q está en la habitación de las dos camas individuales, estaría bien q tuviera un WC en vez de ducha ,ya q si quieres ir d noche tienes es un poco incomodo ir al otro . La ubicación en pleno centro d la medina está en callejones pequeños . El taxi te deja a la entrada de la medina (que es peatonal) y tienes q andar unos 5/10m. Es seguro y con cámaras en la medina pero por la noche a partir de las 10-11 está más solitaria . Nosotras íbamos 4 mujeres solas y no tuvimos ningún problema la verdad. A nosotras nos gustó la experiencia para 2 noches pero es importante tener esto en cuenta que el taxi ,ni ningún vehículo, puede llegar hasta la puerta

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux, la décoration sobre, l'emplacement, le petit-déjeuner varié. Et aussi les très bons soins de Hanane au hammam et au massage. Merci à toute l'équipe !

Riad nel cuore della medina. Personale gentilissimo

La struttura si trova nel cuore della medina, raggiungibile solo a piedi. Le camere sono un po' spartane, ma il personale è estremamente gentile e affabile. Il proprietario ci ha accompagnato personalmente a cena in un ottimo ristorante a pochi minuti dal Riad e la mattina dopo ci ha servito la colazione sul terrazzo.

Il comfort della camere si può migliorare

Nous avons trouvé cet établissement extrêmement calme, le lieu était si paisible. Nous avons eu la chance pendant 3 jours d’être les seuls hôtes😊

Nous n’avons trouvé aucune fausse note dans cet établissement. Le personnel était d’une extrême gentillesse, toujours bienveillant et souriant. Hannan et ……(veuillez excuser l’oubli du prénom de la très gentille femme qui, avec Hannan, nous ont merveilleusement bien « chouchouté »🙏) ont été toujours présentes lorsque nous avions des questions pour visiter la ville. Ce Riad est idéalement placé, au cœur de la médina et pas si loin non plus des quartiers modernes de Rabat. Un roof top idéal pour jouer au Rumicub ou siroter le « whisky local », dixit avec humour un gentil homme rencontré lors de la visite de la ville, peu avare de narrer l’histoire de Rabat aux 2 touristes que nous étions, et dont la définition du délicieux thé à la menthe nous a fait sourire😉.

A beautiful, safe, and peaceful stay that gave me and my family some of our most cherished moments together.

The place is absolutely stunning, from the interior design to the calm & peaceful atmosphere. The suite was very comfortable & beautifully arranged. Breakfast was good, & the staff were extremely kind & welcoming, especially Karim (Abdelkarim) my apologizes if I got the name wrong. He was in charge during the night shift. His respectful & discreet manner, particularly for us as a group of women, reflected a high level of consideration & professionalism for privacy, which greatly enhanced our sense of comfort & safety. What I appreciated the most was the sense of safety & privacy. I truly felt at home. As I mentioned we were a group of women, some of us wearing hijab, this was very important to us. We felt completely comfortable & secure, & we were even able to walk freely without hijab in the morning. The level of security and serenity made our stay very special & relaxing.

The only thing missing was the availability of a prayer mat and clear Qibla direction for Muslim guests. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Staff were very helpful, provided information in English when needed and a great filling breakfast. The location is in a good part of Rabat, a quiet area just behind the market and within walking distance from everything. As most Riads the natural lighting is a little limited in the bedrooms but the the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe. For those who are driving there is an underground parking close by which has 24hr security.

Camera troppo fredda,il condizionatore non funzionava e hanno rimediato con un piccolo calorifero elettrico…in più le lenzuola non erano pulite ma avevano segni di ruggine (spero non sangue)

The staff were delightful - friendly, caring and helpful. The property is situated close to the main shopping thoroughfare but is quiet at night.

The facilities are tired and in need of a refresh. Breakfast is carb-intense - we would have appreciated some eggs or cheese and more fruit.

Le petit déjeuner très bon et bien copieux ! Ensuite la chambre magnifique , propre et le lit est incroyable super confortable moi qui ai des problèmes de dos j’ai bien dormi. Le personnel est très très gentil et disponible ( Hanane et Malika).

Bon séjour à Rabat malgré un prix jugé quelque peu excessif

Nous avons séjourné au Riad El Maâti fin juillet 2025 en réservant une suite et un appartement et avons été très satisfaits de l’accueil. Hanane nous a chaleureusement reçus dès notre arrivée au parking Bab Chellah, ce qui a facilité notre installation. Le personnel est attentionné, professionnel et discret, ce qui contribue à une atmosphère paisible et agréable. Le petit déjeuner était un vrai point fort : savoureux, et préparé avec des produits frais et locaux, servi avec soin (les enfants ont aimé la crème d'ipomée :)). Le riad est très bien situé dans la médina, tout en étant calme et propice à la détente.

Certaines chambres manquent de luminosité et il n'y a pas de télévision. La terrasse, pourtant agréable, mériterait clairement un rafraîchissement pour être mise en valeur. Le prix des prestations ou des repas pratiqués par le riad est trop élevé. Au final, le rapport qualité-prix pourrait être revu à la baisse, compte tenu de ces quelques éléments perfectibles.

Good place for night or two.

Great place to stay. Very Clean unit. Comfort beds. We stayed 3 nights and had a great experience, I highly recommend it.

Avoid this horrible place at all costs. This riad should be banned from Expedia. Pictures on Expedia do not show the realty of the place. hot tub does not exist, snacks and coffee bar does not exist even filtered water does not exist you can only buy bottled water at 2 times the price of the market, I understand that most Riads are old, but this place is falling apart, and the owner does not want to spend a penny to replace anything (see pictures below)Rooms are dirty mold in bathroom and rusted taps and broken furniture.Hot water for a shower does not exist at night unless you ask the reception to turn on the electrical heater. When asked they said we use solar system during the day but at night only by request to save energy!!!Owner is greedy and lies about additional fees. She wanted to charge city tax on children under 12 and any child over 5 years should pay this fee. in addition, she wanted to charge us more fees on our third child although it’s mentioned clearly that the apartment I booked sleeps 6 people without any extra charge unless we ask for extra beds or covers (which we did not) luckily we were able to confront her with her own policy on fees that she added on Expedia not to pay this scamEven when we tried to leave after our first night (we booked 2 nights) owner not only refused to reimburse us but also wanted to charge us taxes for both nights even if we stayed for one night.

Property was very outdated. The rooms were clean but everything was very old. Also after noon there is no cleaning service.

The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The room itself was sufficient for our needs but we would have loved to have a bit more light inside the room.

The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. A few improvements could be a bath mat as the shower has no doors on 2 sides so the surrounding floor will always get wet. Google map direction to the Riad is incorrect but luckily we were able to find it on our own

Very nice service and stay

This hotel is unique in many respects!! It’s situated in the heart of the old city and surrounded by the market place. The hotel itself is beautifully created with old apartments with marble floors and modern designs, yet leaving the feel of its 60’s era. It is far from a typical hotel that brings the Moroccan culture to anyone looking to add a memorable experience to a getaway or vacation. Rooms are clean! Beds are comfortable. And the staff is soft spoken and caring. The only improvement needed is better lighting in the courtyard at night. This hotel deserves 5 Star ratings in its own respect!

A fantastic introduction to Morocco - Rabat is a confident interesting and stunning city.

It was so well located in the Medina but a tranquil place with a beautiful roof terrace and places to sit outside our room. Lovely room really nicely designed, clean and good linen and sheets. Clean lovely breakfast and welcoming staff kind and friendly.

Lovely property near to everything. Excellent staff and a big thanks to Anna the receptionist, hope the spelling of her name was correct, she was awesome and made our visit even better. Thank you! One area that could be improved on is with the room anmenties the drapes in our room covering the door, sink taps need replacement and the toilet needs looking at as it leaked off and on. Other wise a very nice property with a great meet and greet receptionist. Breakfast was awesome,

Clean room but service can be better

The package comes with breakfast and they asked me what time I would like to have breakfast, i told them 8am. They said ok. When i woke up, no one was at the kitchen preparing the breakfast. I had to forgo the breakfast as i have a train to catch at 927am. Else the room is nice and clean.

Loved this riad. Within city walls (so have to walk a little, cars not allowed inside city walls) but was able to get someone to help with bags near taxi stand. Room we were in was spacious, clean with comfortable furniture and little outside space. Breakfast was included and excellent. Location was perfect.

This was an incredible place to stay in the Medina. The hosts were so nice and accommodating and the breakfast terrific. Would definitely recommend to others and will stay here again should I be in Rabat.

The front office upgraded our ground level room to the top level one which was brighter.

The staff was fantastic! They walked us to a Hammam after we expressed interest and helped translate for us. Breakfast was great! The beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfectly.

Photos are deceiving. Quite rundown and dirty. Shower didn't work and lighting was very dim. We ate breakfast the first day and decided the following days to eat somewhere else. Staff very friendly and did their best to accommodate. Rooms are very dark. We almost considered changing our riad, but we had paid for our stay in advance. I would not recommend staying here and would not stay here again.

The property was lovely. But a bit difficult to find and the room a bit dark. The air conditioner worked great and the bed comfortable.

The staff were great but we had trouble getting to the property because a cab driver left us off on the wrong side of the Medina. The shower was unique and we unfortunately flooded it !

I enjoyed very much my stay in Riad El Maâti, the whole place is really nice, very well located and near many things like Quai de Bouregreg. SUPER clean, the shower pressure just great, and most important of all the people that take care of the Riad. Malika and Radilla have been extremely kind and caring during my stay; very, very attentive. You can only imagine what a big heart they have and how thankful I am to have meet them! It was a GREAT surprise to have such a nice attention from all of them, it is a pleasure for me to recommend such nice places with great people here in Morocco.

This property is amazing. Tucked into old Medina it is a perfect place for those wanting to submerge themselves into the sites, sounds and smells of a large market. There is rue after rue of vendors and people are plenty full. You are a short 10 minute walk to the water where there is a wonderful restaurant on a ship. Keep in mind this riad is VERY authentic and intimate. There are only 7 guest rooms, no windows, tall walls around the entire area and tons of people the second you head out the locked front door. Very different “hotel” experience but once acclimated, very enjoyable.

Room was spacious, clean. Showers were great. Faucet was a bit tight and needed to be changed. Staff was amazing and super accommodating. Great location, right off the Main Street of the Medina, also close to a regular street. FYI, it’s next to a Mosque so expect prayers at 4:30 in the morning.
