Una estada fantàstica al Riad Alcazar

Una estada meravellosa al Riad Alcazar de Rabat, un lloc preciós, amb moltíssim encant, una decoració cuidada fins a l’últim detall i un ambient tranquil i acollidor, el personal va ser molt amable i atent en tot moment, i sens dubte, la espectacular piscina a la terrassa és el lloc perfecte per relaxar-se i gaudir de l’estada. Una experiència fantàstica a Rabat. Ens ha encantat i tornarem segur, molt recomanable.

El que menys ens va agradar potser que l’estada fos massa curta ens hauria encantat quedar-nos més dies 🤗

Par ces fortes chaleurs la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et n'a été réparée que le lendemain. Mais la température de la chambre est restée chaude et aucun moyen de la régler, c'est une clim collective.

Ein sehr schönes Riad, sehr gut gelegen und ruhig mit Pool am Dach. Auch mit dem Auto super zu erreichen und es verfügt auch für die oberen Zimmer über einen Lift. Da unsere Klimaanlage defekt war und trotz der Bemühungen des Managers diese nicht repariert werden konnte, wurden wir spontan auf die Royal Suite upgegradet.

Very beautiful building and interior design. The service, especially from Rasheed, was absolutely one of the best that I’ve seen while staying anywhere. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is pleasant.

Slightly on the warm side (83 degrees) in summer even with the AC turned on.

Fantastic stay!

The rooms and the building are truly beautiful, and so are the staff. For a couple who had never been to Morocco before, the mellow pace of Rabat was the perfect entry, and the thoughtful care of the staff was big part of a wonderful four day stay. Largely because of the warm and friendly staff, everything was easy and fun, so we could relax and enjoy the beautiful suite and the lovely town. Each morning, a full breakfast in the gorgeous courtyard. Our every question was graciously met - recommendations for what to see, where to eat, and how to get around. They arranged for laundry service and a tour guide, set us up for a hammam, and packed a lunch for our train ride… we were so well looked after! Also: excellent location just inside the Medina - easy to be dropped off with your luggage by car (also small elevator inside!) and very walkable to the casbah and souks. The bed was very comfy, and our upstairs room was quiet and the whole riad was very clean. Definitely staying here again if we can ever get back to Rabat, and definitely hoping to get back to Rabat someday.

Nothing disappointed us - our L'Alcazar stay was exceptional! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a wonderful stay at L'Alcazar. The riad is beautiful throughout but what sets it aside is the hospitality from the staff, who literally cant do enough for you. Loved it

Gostei do serviço e da atenção dada por eles. A riad também é muito bonita e o pequeno-almoço é bom mas sem variedade.

Quarto com cheiro estranho, roupa de cama pouco adequada, limpeza minima, pouca luz., pequeno almoço sem variedade.

Im Anschluss an eine Konferenz in Rabat habe ich dieses schöne Riad gebucht und fühlte mich von Anfang an wunderbar aufgehoben. Super freundliches Personal, eine Top Lage und von meiner Terrasse (Junior Suite im 2.Stock) hatte ich einen mega Ausblick auf die Medina. Der Stadtstrand ist in 10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Schöner Roof- Top Pool, alles sehr gepflegt. Gerne wieder!

The most helpful and friendly staff! George, Rashid and Sharon were great. Our first night, there was no proper cot available for our 1 year old, but they’ve managed to arrange a beautiful little cot for our second night. Also, our room upgrade was much appreciated.

Our first night, the hotel hosted a private party in the inner-patio of the building. Although we had some inconvenience from somewhat loud music - it actually was quite nice and not too bad (we had a normal night sleep). However, I would have appreciated a notification upfront to make our own decision if we would take the risk or not (especially with a 1-year old - although he slept through the entire party).

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Riad sieht sehr gut aus. Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung haben wir uns für das Geld besser erwartet, aber man muss bedenken, dass es ja in Marokko auf dem Afrikanischen Kontinent ist. Das ist nicht gerade der europäische Standard. Das Frühstück war super und das Personal war immer außerordentlich freundlich.

Dar Kaffee und das Wasser wurden beim dem Hotel, das sich als Luxery bezeichnet, nicht nachgefüllt. Erst auf Nachfrage, wurde dies Ausnahme gemacht.

Gruselig

Leider haben uns nur die Bilder der Unterkunft gefallen. Den Pool auf dem Dach gab es. Aber auch dieser in einer vernachlässigten Umgebung. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse war ganz schön. Die Lage nicht schlecht. Das wenige Personal gab sich sichtlich Mühe. Sonst gibt es leider nichts positives zu berichten

Das ganze Haus wirkte stark vernachlässigt. Wir waren als Familie dort und haben so Einblick in 3 Zimmer bekommen. Die Zimmer waren zum Teil sehr klein und hatten ihre beste Zeit schon hinter sich. Überhaupt war die Atmosphäre irgendwie museal, tot, irgendwie gruselig, definitiv nicht den Bildern bei Booking.com entsprechend. Woher die guten Bewertungen kommen ist uns allen ein Rätsel. Das Preis- Leistung Verhältnis wurde in unseren Augen gar nicht gewahrt. Die dicke Kakerlake, die wir in einem der Badezimmer fanden hat uns den Rest gegeben. Auf keinen Fall wieder.

The perfect peaceful escape

Such a beautiful property. The location is fantastic - right at the entrance to the medina with key attractions within walking distance. The riad itself was lovely - small, intimate and peaceful. It’s beautifully decorated and our room was light and comfortable. The team there - Sharon, George and Mohammed were warm and welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect

Fabulous boutique hotel. Truly a gem. Rashid, Mustafa & George went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable & our every need addressed. Rashid phone ahead & booked us a restaurant, upgraded our room, was truly delightful. Breakfast was amazing, delicious and beautifully served. Would definitely recommend, colonial style, exquisite perfection!

Lovely Riad, friendly staff and really good location

Very good location. Helpful staff especially George and Rashid. We had a suite which was spacious. Breakfast was very nice.

The suite had 3 levels which meant some delicate manoeuvres for two pensioners on steps that had limited hand rails.

Pour aller dans un Riad, il ne faut pas être claustrophobe car peu de fenêtres (dans certains, il y en a, c'est sûr) et à l'Alcazar, on ne peut aérer la chambre.

Dire favoloso e' davvero poco

Tutto. Non saprei come descrivere il servizio se non dire che era tutto perfetto. Dalla pulizia ed ordine delle signore, carine, gentili le camere erano iper pulite, lenzuola profumatissime, asciugamani di un profumo che faceva sognare, venivano cambiati ogni giorno, alla colazione e altissima professionalita' dello staff dalla mattina alla sera. La signora della colazione la mattina, non ricordo il nome, ma di gran classe. Mustafa, il gatekeeper, super gentile tutte le volte, tutti i giorni. Sempre. Il ragazzo della reception che ha studiato tourism management ma di cui non ricordo il nome perché non sono brava con i nomi, pure lui elegante e professionale. Siete meravigliosi. Grazie per il soggiorno, davvero. Il riad, hotel e' una proiezione in un mondo bellissimo. Di classe, rilassante, di gran classe e stile. Il caminetto la sera era una cosa super cozy. Eravamo per lavoro, ci avete coccolati.

Non centrano i ragazzi ne' lo staff, che e' SUPER professionale, di grandissima classe ripeto tutti veramente eccellenti, tutti!...ma vi prego quei due uccellini in gabbia vi prego...rivedete se e' il caso di liberarli. Quello blu e quello verde..🩷 Per il resto, siete meravigliosi. Grazie per tutto

The hotel was in a good position to walk everywhere. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely attentive and very helpful.

Die großen Zimmer sind großzügiger aber alles in die Jahre gekommen.

Das Zimmer war von der Größe eher eine Zelle. Im anderen Zimmer gab es einen Wasserschaden, der nur durch einen Umzug behoben wurde. Ich warte bis heute noch auf die Rechnung. Achtung bei Vorauszahlungen über booking.com, dann kann das Hotel keine Firmenrechnungen ausstellen.

Elegant oasis from which to explore Rabat

The entrance was very deceptive, but from the moment the door opened we knew we had made a good choice. Sharon, George and Rashid were welcoming and helpful from the start. Breakfast was freshly made each morning and very generous. It was also nice to briefly meet Mohammad and Mustafa, we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Location 5 mins walk from Les Oudayas was perfect for our stay.

Others have commented on the exterior not looking particularly inviting, luckily our taxi driver knew where to drop us - the other side of the door there is a beautiful mosaic floor

We booked a beautiful room via booking.com, but when we arrived we were shown to a very dirty room, split over two floor; there was a very tight spiral staircase that led down to a dark, poorly ventilated and therefore extremely damp room that has a strong smell of urine. The bed was jammed right next to the openable window, which we had to ask hotel staff to pull away since there was no air whatsoever. The room was advertised as air conditioned, but it was only in the upstairs mezzanine level and didn’t reach downstairs. The bathroom had an openable and thin door to the corridor outside, so lots of foot traffic whilst on the loo. On top of that, the whole room was filthy with stains across the floor, dust literally everywhere and dirt and grime in the corners. There were also bugs all around the room and bathroom. Not clean at all. It was disgusting and we barely slept. I have asthma and suffered a great deal from the conditions of the room. We spoke to staff both upon arrival and the next morning. Both times they said nothing could be done and it that it was an issue with booking.com and that they have had it several times.(ie, they are totally aware of the problem and are still advertising the room at full market price despite several complaints). Even if that is the case, the room was not in a good state to market at any price

Een voortreffelijk verblijf dat comfort, gastvrijheid en authenticiteit perfect combineert.

De uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid. Vanaf het eerste moment voel je je welkom, met een authentieke Marokkaanse ontvangst en een glas thee. Een buitengewoon prettige ervaring die ik iedereen van harte aanbeveel.

Er is niets aan te merken; alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Ga zo door.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. So kind and helpful. The location was perfect and easy to find. Walking distance to most things or a short cab ride.

The breakfast was always lovely but by day 3 of the same breakfast we found it a little repetitive. It was raining a lot so they had the windows all covered in plastic and even our door to the balcony. So sad we could not see outside or use what looked like a lovely terrace.

The location and the staff are excellent. Rachid , Sharon and George were so friendly and accommodating- All smiles all the time . The property itself is very picturesque.
