Well maintained grounds, really friendly staff and very relaxing. Pool area fantastic, good selection of food (especially if you stick to the made to order bbq and omelette stations).

Some of the room felt a little tired and the bathroom could have done with an update. Lots of flies in the dining area, but might have been down to the climate.

J'ai séjourné dans cette hôtel plusieurs fois et c'était magique à chaque fois . Mais cette fois, j'ai constaté que la qualité d'accueil et la nourriture et l'animation a fortement diminué.

Bel hôtel, un peu cher pour le rapport qualité-prix

Beau domaine, chambres confortables et climatisées, grand buffet avec choix varié (notamment des spécialités marocaines tous les jours : tajines, msemen, hamlou, couscous le vendredi...). La piscine principale est vaste et chauffée, l'ambiance est calme en dehors des activités (qui se terminent plutôt tôt le soir, ce qui est un plus pour ceux cherchant la tranquillité). La nourriture au restaurant "Café Maure" est très bonne. Nous avons voyagé avec un bébé et l'hôtel avait installé un lit parapluie de qualité. Les massages au SPA étaient top, le personnel du SPA est accueillant et professionnel.

Le personnel à l'accueil et au bar n'est pas toujours très agréable, et le personnel d'entretien entre parfois dans les chambres sans frapper. La qualité du buffet est inégale (même si c'est correct dans l'ensemble), avec beaucoup de mouches. Le système de réservation au Café Maure est à revoir, il était compliqué d'avoir une table pendant le séjour. Les taxis pour se rendre au centre ville en réservant par l'hôtel sont très chers (entre 300 et 400 (!) MAD), mieux vaut ne pas passer par l'hôtel et prendre le contact d'un chauffeur indépendant ou commander un Uber. Les prix de la supérette de l'hôtel sont exorbitants. Enfin, la piscine pour enfants n'était pas chauffée et est en plein soleil, pas idéal donc pour les plus jeunes.

Hôtel à petite structure avec une piscine chauffée ce qui est un plus. Nourritures variées, bon cocktails.situation au calme

Beaucoup de mouches que ce soit dans les chambres ou au restaurant. Manque de personnel au bars ou au restaurant. Nettoyage des chambres pas au top. Personnel pas forcément aimable. Dommage qu’il n’y a pas de serveur autour de la piscine et à la terrasse, on doit aller chercher au bar nos consommations.

Séjour très agréable à l’hôtel Hôtel Sol Marrakech. Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu, les chambres sont confortables et de qualité. Les infrastructures sportives sont un vrai plus : tennis, padel et salle de sport bien équipés. Un grand merci à Sara, la responsable des relations clients, qui a été exceptionnelle tout au long du séjour : toujours disponible, professionnelle et à l’écoute.

Great escape with amazing sporting facilities

A beautiful secluded property offering an escape from the busy Marrakech. The staff were very friendly. The resort is a padel tennis players dream with two courts that are free to play (with deposit for equipment). The pool is also heated making the hotel a good break!

Staff can be a bit persistent with getting people to join events. Additionally, the all inclusive includes 1 dinner at both restaurants but we were unable to get bookings at either throughout our stay of 3 nights. The airport shuttle also is a bit unreliable and was 30 mins late so give yourself a bit more time.

Excellent hotel. Staff were exceptional. Sara was superb in helping to organise a family birthday party . Ali in the dining room was very attentive. The entertainment staff were very good & Kira ensured we danced ! Overall staff were super.

Our was stay was very nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of variety when it came to meal times. I definitely would recommend Sol Oasis Marrakech to my friends.

Fabulous, food, drinks and very clean

We went to this resort at the beginning of December, we enjoyed it so much that it’s taken me this long to write a review. On arrival we were greeted by reception staff who took our luggage and gave us a ticket for collection when our room was ready, we were told to take a seat and a member of staff brought us a welcome drink while another member of staff gave us the form to fill in,we were given our wristbands and told to go to the restaurant for lunch and come back afterwards to see if our room was ready. We did this and first impressions of the restaurant were great there was plenty of choice and the food was well labelled, the only downside I could see was the allergy information wasn’t clear but I’m sure if you have an issue they would have sorted it out for you. Like other reviews I would say that the food could have been hotter, which it most likely was when it first came out of the kitchen. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. We were shown to our room which was exceptionally clean, I’m not usually one for running my fingers along the top of mirrors but after the last place we went I did! The room was quite large my only negative would be the wardrobe, it was big enough for a week but definitely not for 2 wks. The safe in the room was free to use which was a bonus the windows were small but they were lovely and had shutters too along with the curtains it made the room very dark but again my only niggle was the sockets had a green light which was annoying. The shower was a walk-in which was perfect the water pressure and temperature was constant and the bathroom itself was a good size. They gave us a leaflet that had a qr code on and with that it gave you all the information on restaurant/bar times also if you required something in your room like towels or bar service you could use that as well. The room numbering system was a little strange so we got a little turned around but that only happened on our first day 🤣. The pool was a good size and the sun beds were plentiful but I don’t think the hotel was very busy there were static parasols around 3 sides of the pool and then the sun trap end had ones you could put up or down yourself but you were in a direct line of the music/speaker. There was a lovely little pool for children and although there wasn’t many there they still had the sprays on. There wasn’t a gym which was well equipped and quite a few tennis courts, 2 of them had what looked like electric nets that could move up thus turning them into badminton courts, the areas all within the resort were beautifully maintained,there wasn’t a lot of staff and they all said hello/bonjour. The bar staff were great the cocktail list was extensive, they had a list but there wasn’t also a qr code you could scan and that had even more on, I like a mojito which wasn’t on the list by the bar but they made them for me anyway. They did sometimes bring drinks over but again I should imagine when it’s full they’d need to as the que would probably be huge as they mix the cocktails properly so it’s not just being poured from a jug. The inside bar didn’t have much atmosphere and I’d say the music was a bit loud but they had football on down 1 end All the common areas were clean and there wasn’t always staff tidying up the cushions and wiping the tables. I can’t praise this hotel enough. The entertainment staff were friendly but not bothersome, we just like to read and relax on holiday. We didn’t leave the hotel at all but we have been to Marrakesh a few times but if it’s your first time definitely go out. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel again we loved it.

Wonderful Stay & Experience

We spent the Xmas holidays at Sol Oasis and it was a wonderful experience. From the variety of tasty food options each day, to activities for all the family, topped up with kid's club entertainment and the arrival of Father Christmas on Christmas day made it a beautiful and enjoyable stay. All staff were welcoming with praise to those cleaning up within the restaurant and around the hotel. I would give a special shout out to Aziz, at reception, who ensured, what could have been a bad accommodation experience for one of our parties, turned into a brilliant stay with a beautiful room they truly enjoyed. Thank you Sol Oasis team.

Family Christmas holiday

We’re on our 2nd last night staying at Sol Oasis Marrakech and we have such an amazing time. The staff could not have been more attentive even on the (sadly) rainy days they still made sure we were all having a lovely time. Special shout-out to the entertainment team especially Khalil who kept us and my 3 year old daughter entertained all day. The rooms were comfortable and spotless throughout the whole hotel we couldn’t have wished for a better hotel to spend during christmas

A very good stay

A good hotel to enjoy especially if you choose to add ‘all inclusive’. The hotel arranged the taxi to pick and drop us back at the airport, so we didn’t have to negotiate or bargain with the taxi drivers, which is quite normal, as I heard. We were here at a time when it was off season, thus less visitors and we made use of all the available amenities. No complaints about the food or cleanliness of the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but hotel provides a free shuttle transport to the old city. We used it only once because it was raining every few days. All in all, we had a very quiet , enjoyable time just before Christmas.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. The variety of food was far beyond what I expected. The staff were very friendly and accommodating towards the kids. The spa treatments were also lovely, exceptional service from Soukaina, Fatima and Salima.

December in Marrakech

Perfect location, entertainment - Nouha (dancing, bingo and cocktail class) and Said (bar area) great fun and lots of energy! Music was great on an evening! Hot during the day from 11 onwards and then chilly evenings! Hamam Spa was amazing - 2 hour session for Hamam and then a sports massage! Highly recommended!

Stunning place for a Birthday Trip

We had a room with no balcony and it was spacious and clean. There was nothing more we needed and were glad we didn’t upgrade. There were a few niggles such as a terrible gassy drain smell from the bathroom that made our room smell every time we came in. Maintenance tried to help but to no avail. The sound proofing from the windows was really poor so bring ear plugs for the night and morning. We visited mid November and the weather was hot during the day- high 20s. However, around the pool there was only one shorter side which didn’t have the umbrellas up, so everyone flocked there and there were no sun beds left in the sun. The umbrellas can only be adjusted by staff but they saw me struggle and didn’t try to help. We really enjoyed the selection of cocktails and there was always so much love put into making them. They weren’t your average all-inclusive cocktails. The buffet was hit and miss with some issues. The special cuisine nights eg Italian or oriental are very loosely followed. It is concerning that some days we went to the buffet upon opening and the food was cold, but they do provide microwaves. My partner has a peanut and tree nut allergy and the lack of serving spoons meant people were using the same spoon for dishes that contained nuts. The desserts weren’t labelled at all which is a massive risk! There was a language barrier when he asked the chefs so he mostly avoided these. The pizza from the outside bar was amazing and we ate this everyday as our pre-dinner snack. Also the Spanish a la carte was great and probably the best food in the hotel. There was a hard sell on buying a bottle of wine though. The indoor bar was a great place to chill, drink and play cards. The interior is beautiful and picturesque. The barman here was kind and brought over snacks and popcorn. I would recommend here for when it gets cooler at night and there’s no places to sit by the fireplace. We used the shuttle bus around 3 times for return trips and it was so convenient. It’s around 25-30 minute trip depending on traffic and it drops you off 10 mins away from the square. Don’t fall for anyone who’s waiting outside the bus stop and trying to give you a tour even if they say they work for the hotel-they don’t! The place is stunning and we really enjoyed our time here putting all bad things aside.

Absolutely love this hotel

This hotel is exceptionally good. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Sara the guest relations manager has been so helpful. She has made sure our birthday trip has run perfectly. Sara also has made sure all our party got the rooms required and generally helped at every stage of our visit. The bar staff and entertainment team have made our visit feel like we are part of the family. The food was great for vegetarians. Will definitely be back

The lean

We had the most fantastic stay at Sol Oasis, situated in the middle of the famous Atlas Mountains, Sol Oasis offered a tranquil week of relaxing, sports and entertainment. The highlight of the trip was the lean, who knew a man could tilt so far (Khalil being the star of the show). Would highly recommend..

Lovely hotel. Staff excellent. Very clean hotel. Spa excellent, had a manicure, pedicure and blow dry. Very attentive and reasonable. Cheaper than home. Staff caring and good. My second trip. Was here same time last year. Good entertainment . Need a jumper and warm clothes for night time. Food great!

Heaven on earth

From the moment we arrived, we loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, from reception staff, all the bar and restaurant staff, the animation team couldn’t do enough for you. The pool, gardens and rooms were great. The food was amazing and lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff.

Lovely hotel, highly recommended

The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pictures are a true representation and you feel instantly at ease. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a little ground floor patio with garden view. Glad we hadn’t paid for balcony as they are tiny and there are so many beautiful places to sit around the hotel. We did struggle to sleep, the walls are thin and we had noisy neighbours who sat outside their room late at night. The calling to pray starts around 6am so if you are light sleepers bring ear plugs. Staff without exception are friendly and helpful. The entertainment team are busy making guests feel welcome. We didn’t see any managers which we found unusual,but perhaps just a different system from other hotels we have visited. Food is very good, buffet choice is varied and live cooking of meat, fish and fresh pasta is lovely and fresh. It is all luke warm so we used the microwave to heat up our dinner each evening. Not an issue. We also had a meal at the Spanish restaurant (took our own glass of wine) and enjoyed the change of buffet food with the set menu. All inclusive does not include Aperol which I was disappointed by, and the Prosecco is not great. but there is a wide choice of cocktails, bottle beer and the wine is very good. Do not buy excursions from hotel, they are double the price. We used trip advisor to book a spectacular sunrise hotairballon ride. Highly recommend. The shuttle bus to Marrakesh runs several times a day and is a great service. We had no problem booking the times we wanted on two separate occasions. Be aware of ‘government officials’ once in the city! Although we never felt unsafe we were a little careful who we engaged with. We had a beautiful evening meal at DARDAR restaurant just off the main square, to see the beautiful sunset. Finally the weather.. we visited last week of November. It’s cool in the morning until about 11am. Then lovely and warm until around 4pm. The swimming pool is cold on entry, then refreshing once in! Evenings are also cool and the fire pits around the terrace are welcome sources of heat. I was thankful of my jeans and hoodie. Little things… shower has mold around the base, towels are thin and frayed. As many have said the constant search for cups, glasses, and cross contamination of serving spoons is really frustrating.. (not great if you are a vegetarian or have a food allergy) I don’t understand why the hotel can’t sort this out.. guests have been raising this for months! Other than that we had a great week and can highly recommend this hotel.

100% recommend this hotel

Just had an 11 night stay at the end of November and had an amazing time. The hotel is very clean, lovely cocktails and food. The entertainment staff are very friendly (Khalil - my favourite. Funny and loves to dance. Also nouha, jimmy and, youngi) and love to have a laugh and put on great shows in the evening. There is lovely live music every night and something different after. I can’t fault anything about this hotel and the staff. The waiters are great at taking care of you when it comes to service (Red 1, soufiane, Brahim) and I can’t wait to come back. It’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere and housekeeping keep the rooms lovely and clean. 100% recommend!!!

Relaxing holiday, but fun entertainment team

Fantastic week at the Sol Oasis. Special mention has to go to the animation team, Khalil, nouha, fati, yassmine, bar staff soufiane, redouane, and the manager mohsin, without forgetting the pizza man Rachid who make delicious pizzas

Good but points to be aware of

On first impressions we didnt find reception friendly. We had barely checked in and was waiting to see if our room was available and got ushered to see a woman selling excursions. Being tired We found this too much. The room was spacious and clean. But found the mirrors not cleaned. The bed is very comfy best we have slept on. The food has a variety of choice. Yes its luke warm but we warmed our food up in the microwave. Staff are very helpful. To those who stay in winter be aware if you have breathing issues. I suffer with asthma and found the fire pits too smokey. Plus in the lobby bar and reception area is highly perfumed. To the point it stung our eyes and throat. We watched one of the shows. Animation do encourage you to join in. The photo booth man took some great pics and we purchased them. Great keepsakes. There is nothing outside of the hotel. Apart from booking excursions. Change up money at airport. We enjoyed our stay For us if we stayed again it would have to be summer months due to the smoke. Tips are appreciated.

Perfect for us, just what we needed.

Man wife and I stayed here for a week of winter sun and we were not disappointed, it is a clean and friendly hotel. It has a family run atmosphere and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful to all of your needs. The food was amazing, a great range of styles but the authentic Moroccan dishes were sublime and you have the chance to do a free tagline cooking class. My wife has allergies and each night the head chef went out of his way to create a bespoke pudding for her. The room was lovely and clean, not huge but it had everything we needed. Great value and we would definitely recommend it. Being about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Marakesh, it was quiet and a great place to be central for trips.

Amazing Family Holiday with a lovely babysitter & luxury SPA

We had a really relaxing stay at the Sol Oasis, so much to say with so many positives, here are some ! We went with our 15 month old baby and were so lucky to have had Fatima looking after him each day who works at the Hotel as part of the kids club and played with our son all day and made him very happy and gave us valuable free time. Thank you so much Fatima ! With our free time we spent everyday in the luxury on site SPA where we experienced real quality service at really good prices for so many different treatments. For sure the SPA was a highlight of our stay. Thank you to all the SPA team ! We went fully inclusive & so happy with the range and quality of the meals available , we actually didn’t eat outside the hotel once as the hotel food was so good. All the service team were so helpful & provided a fun & relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to all the Service Teams ! Overall for sure we will be back soon , can’t wait ! Thanks Domi, John & Matteo

Khaiil was the BEST loved our stay at the whole hotel, redouane and hanan , mohsin , soufian , nourdine , and the boss mohsin night time from the bar Jimmy from entertainement and Samad … all staff was epic!!! Best day time activities we will be back next year. Love you all xxxxxx

What A Find! A fantastic AI with wonderful and friendly staff in every area of the hotel. My husband and I booked for a birthday treat and was surprised at the pool by the lovely lady from the bar and Khalil with cake and a candle by the pool singing happy birthday 🎈 many thanks both for that wonderful memory! Staff are very attentive and not intrusive. Rooms are huge but well maintained and clean. Water left in the room also, a huge bonus with a fridge! The shuttle bus to Marrakech is a great bonus which we did and also the sunrise Hot air balloon ride where they collected us from the hotel. Will definitely be back. Thank you all!
