Moroccan hospitality at its finest

If you want a traditional riad experience, this is the spot for you! So much thought and care went into every detail. For example, we are staying with an infant, so (without us asking) they cleaned our room first each day in case we came back for a midday nap for the baby. The breakfast was phenomenal — we looked forward to it every day. They helped us arrange a taxi on our arrival and departure, both were excellent. And the room was impeccably clean. Add to this the phenomenal location (inside the Medina right off a main road, but somehow still quiet and only a two minute walk from the edge of the pedestrian only zone, so easy to catch a taxi) and you have a truly outstanding stay.

I didn’t like that we couldn’t stay longer. We loved our time here and the staff exemplified every good thing I’ve heard about Moroccans. Truly wonderful.

Très bel endroit, situé dans une ruelle calme mais proche des commerces et lieux à visiter Les propriétaires sont charmants et très disponibles. Le personnel très efficace et attentionné. Je suis arrivée au milieu de la nuit et j'ai été très bien reçue et installée.

Petit détail, il manquait juste des bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre. Comme je suis arrivée très tard, je n'ai pas voulu déranger davantage la dame qui m'a reçue

Ryad molto bello e curato, le camere sono ampie ed accoglienti. Dotate di tutti i servizi. Molto gentili i gestori che ci hanno offerto il te e i pasticcini al nostro arrivo, oltre ad alcuni suggerimenti importanti per la visita della città. La colazione è molto ricca e preparata al momento. La posizione è ottima per visitare la Medina e la Kasbah des Oudayas. Posteggio disponibile su Av. Laalou (con pochi euro di mancia ai posteggiatori) Assolutamente consigliato

Parfait !

Nos hôtes nous ont logé au superbe Riad Shaier au lieu du Riad Karima (dans lequel nous avions séjourné à une autre occasion... d'où notre retour). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et un bonus spécial pour Siham, qui est toujours à l'écoute et pleine d'attentions. Kaouthar et Hasnae ne sont pas en reste. Une adresse à retenir à Rabat !

Muy limpio y tranquilo. El desayuno maravilloso y Aicha te llevamos en el corazón, has hecho que nuestras vacaciones hayan sido lo más. Todo cerca, llegamos de madrugada y la zona es segura con restaurantes y sitios para tomar algo o comer. La cama muy cómoda.

The Riad needs refreshment, especially as regards bathrooms, new equipment and water heating system. In the bathroom we found a number of cockroaches.

Unscheinbar aber Oho

Wir waren von diesem Riad wirklich begeistert. Die kleine, unscheinbare Gasse mitten in der Medina ließ zunächst überhaupt nicht erahnen, dass sich hinter der kleinen und niedrigen Tür ein echtes Juwel verbirgt. Sobald man eintritt, taucht man in eine wunderschöne und ruhige Atmosphäre ein. Das g Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. Besonders gefallen haben uns die Ruhe trotz der zentralen Lage, das tolle Frühstück und das wunderschöne Ambiente. Ein Ort mit ganz besonderem Charme – wir kommen definitiv wieder.

. Le personnel très sympathique et aux petits soins pour les clients . Le patio au centre du riad ou l'on prend le petit-déjeuner est très sympa . Petit déjeuner copieux . La facilité d'accès (rue adjacente d'une des artères principales de la Médina) . Le calme au cœur de la Médina

. Odeur un peu présente à l'arrivée liée au produit d'entretien ? ou peut-être à la cire des meubles en bois ? . Quartier en rénovation en journée

Ottimo riad, nel cuore della medina di Rabat

Abbiamo soggiornato in una splendida camera famigliare al piano più alto del riad, con affaccio sul bellissimo cortile interno. Camera molto spaziosa, letti molto comodi, una comodissima sala da bagno. Al mattino ci é stata servita una ottima e abbondante colazione, molto apprezzata! Da fuori non si può immaginare quel che si troverà all'interno, consiglio di varcare la soglia, non si resterà delusi!

Accueil chaleureux des deux dames. Nous avons apprécié qu'un délicieux petit déjeuné soit préparé avant notre départ matinal pour l'aéroport (Merci Aïcha).

Dar Karima est idéalement située pour tout visiter à pied, proximité de la gare et du tram. L'accueil et la gentillesse au top.

Vriendelijk en rustig , mooie ontbijtruimte beneden , en we kregen goed advies voor restaurant etc.

Ontbijt was vrij uitgebreid met schaaltje amandelen , rozijnen en dadel, vers fruit , vers sap en omeletje . Gewoon stokbrood er bij was wel lekker geweest.

Ruimte naast het bed was wat smal ( zoals in de meeste Ryads) Kamer was wel ruim en badkamer ook. Ook best handig dat wij een kamer op de begane grond hadden. Het zag er allemaal licht en knus uit.

L'emplacement idéal au centre de la médina La gentillesse du personnel et la sympathie du propriétaire avec qui nous avons bien discuté. Nous n'étions que de passage et n'avons pas pu rester plus que quelques heures mais c'était très confortable et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Dommage de ne pas pouvoir y rester plus longtemps. Peut être que quelques transat sur le toit terrasse seraient les bienvenus...

Remarquable amabilité des propriétaires, de la gestionnaire et du personnel du riad ! Literie d'excellente qualité. Petit déjeuner royal. Une décoration et une atmosphère typiques et de très bon goût.

If you go there, you have to like the area, the old town "medina" (quite dirty and noisy). It can be noisy in the guesthouse, when there are kids. I think most people stay only one or two nights.

Magnifique Riad situé dans la médina de Rabat, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût par le propriétaire qui nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et bien conseillé.

Man wohnt hier ruhig und authentisch inmitten der Medina von Rabat.

Nach dunklen Gassen tritt man durch eine Tür und steht in einem kleinen Schloss. Überwältigend. Wunderschöne, geschmackvolle Zimmer und sehr ruhig. Die Eigentümer und die Angestellten waren sehr herzlich und freundlich. Super Frühstück.

Riad authentique

Très agréable séjour dans un riad authentique Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au riad Dar Karima. L’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux, avec une personne très attentive et disponible tout au long du séjour. Le riad est resté dans son jus, ce qui lui donne beaucoup de charme et d’authenticité, jolis meubles anciens.. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, copieux et de qualité. L’emplacement est idéal, à l’entrée de Rabat, proche de la rue principale. Il est possible de se garer facilement à environ cinq minutes à pied, ce qui est très pratique. Un lieu très agréable que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Nos gustó la prolijidad y limpieza del lugar. El desayuno estaba bien, complementaria con un poco más de variedad de frutas.

El único comentario es algunos detalles de mantenimiento.

Riad molto bello. La sala dove viene servita l’ottima colazione e’ uno spettacolo. Situato all’interno della sicura medina. Consiglio le stanze al piano superiore che però sono per quattro persone. Quelle basse sono un po’ buie ed umide, ma dotate di riscaldamento. Noi abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con il riscaldamento e alcune formiche nella stanza bassa. Tuattavia ci hanno cambiato prontamente la stanza. Nelle stanze c’è anche il bidet. Lo consiglio.

Position of the structure and kindness of the staff.

We were visiting on winter so it was pretty cold during the night even if we kept the heating on all night long. Shower sprinklers are lacking of pressure so the water falls weakly.

A good stay in a beautiful Riad in the heart of Rabat.

It is a beautiful Riad in the heart of Rabat Medina, and we had a great stay there for a few days. Our room was on the ground floor facing the inner courtyard, very spacious, well decorated and with a nice bathroom. The breakfast room was beautiful, and the food was good and provided enough energy for the day. It was also funny to discover that the owner of the Riad used to live in the same area in Belgium, and we had a sweet conversation about it.

The only 'problem' is that the Riad is located in this inconspicuous side street of Medina. It is not an issue per se but a bizarre contrast - an empty side street from outside and an architectural marvel from inside.

Loved the location

As a general remark, riads are not for everybody. It is an experience but not ideal when you travel with children in my opinion.

Our stay in Rabat was too short, but we will definitely be coming back!

The Riad is so beautiful! We stayed in a 4-bed suite which was perfect for our family. The hosts were attentive and so friendly. We loved the location! So much to see right outside the door.

Cozy and convenient accommodation at Medina

The dar is small but beautiful and clean. We had a big room for family to stay in, and every day enjoyed the hearty breakfast. Aicha was very helpful and friendly even sometimes the communication didn't go that smooth due to language barrier. The location is also very convenient to reach medina, food stands, and the beach. Train station Rabat Ville also in walking distance.
