Ich würde das Riad El Ouedghiri jederzeit wieder besuchen. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind alle unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit, und erklären einem genau wie man in Fes wo hinkommt, wie man sich zu verhalten hat und wo es tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und man bekommt bei der Ankunft auch einen Begrüßungs- Minztee. Die Aussicht von der Dachterasse ist fantastisch und das Riad ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Man kann auch einen Kochkurs buchen und im Riad essen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber wirklich die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und Höflichkeit der Angestellten.

Voyage entre copines, excellent hébergement !

Un riad magnifique avec une architecture typiquement marocaine, très bien situé par rapport aux principales attractions touristiques de la médina. Un grand merci à Mohammed qui est venu nous chercher à pied sur la route principale pour nous accompagner malgré notre arrivée tardive, le riad étant situé dans une petite ruelle. Après une longue journée de voyage nous avons été chaleureusement accueillies avec un excellent dîner servi dans notre chambre. Un grand merci également à Hajar qui le lendemain matin a pris le temps de nous présenter la ville avant que nous partions en balade. Enfin un grand merci à Anas qui nous a accompagnées très tôt le matin vers notre transport le jour de notre départ, avec en prime un petit sac comprenant de quoi grignoter étant donné que nous sommes parties avant le petit déjeuner. Et en parlant du petit déjeuner, il est excellent, et nous avons adoré le prendre sur la terrasse qui offre une très belle vue sur la ville. Nous nous sommes vraiment senties comme à la maison du début à la fin de notre séjour et recommandons vivement ce riad !! Si nous repassons par Fès un jour, nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner ! Un grand merci Dar Ouedghiri !

Best experience on Booking so far! A warm welcome with tea and a detailed breakdown of all the top spots in Fes on a map. The room was clean and well-equipped, breakfast on the rooftop was amazing, and the location is great, just a short walk from the heart of the Medina. I’d especially like to praise all the staff, who were incredibly friendly; I’ve honestly never experienced hospitality like this before. You can’t go wrong with this place!

Wir kamen morgens direkt nach unserem Flug zum Riad und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir haben direkt ein kostenloses Frühstück bekommen und wurden direkt danach von Hajira über die Stadt aufgeklärt. Sie markierte uns auf einer Karte mehrere Orte und erzählte uns was zur Geschichte. Danach hat sie uns über Scamer aufgeklärt und wie wir diese am besten vermeiden oder am schnellsten loswerden. Wir haben eine so schöne Gastfreundlichkeit erlebt, dass wir uns fühlten wie Zuhause. Außerdem habe ich da eine so leckere Kefta Tajin gegessen, wie ich es noch nie erlebt hatte! Der Innenhof ist sehr schön und von der Dachterrasse hat man einen ausgezeichneten Ausblick. Wir reisten um 7:00 Uhr ab, da wir eine 3 tägige Wüstentour gebucht hatten. Bei checkout bekamen wir essen für unterwegs mit. Wir bedanken uns wirklich von ganzem Herzen bei allen Mitarbeitern des Riads und ganz besonders bei Mohammed, Hajira und Anas! Sollten wir wieder nach Fès kommen wird dies definitiv wieder unser Riad.

Starting from the very first interaction with Hajar, who guided us with everything and made sure we reached the Riad accurately, to Muhammad who showed us everything: he even gave us a map and explained how to navigate the complex medina. And Anas who was superb with everything. I must admit, having been in Morocco for 6 days prior to this place, the food here is amazing and beats all. The breakfast is more than you can ask for. The dinner is arguably great value for money. But most importantly: Muhammad, Hajar and Anas ( I am sure there are more including chefs), they make you so comfortable and feel at home.

Tutto lo staff è super gentile e disponibile, ti spiegano cosa vedere, quali posti evitare e ti lasciano anche una mappa. Il Riad è vicinissimo alle strade principali della medina ma lontano dal rumore. Colazione e cena molto buone.

Riad accogliente e curato nel cuore della medina

La struttura è situata nel cuore della medina, non lontano da una delle varie porte di accesso alla città. Il Riad è accogliente, pulito e curato. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e disponibile, pur essendo atterrati con diverse ore di ritardo e alle 2 a.m. hanno posticipato il taxi e ci hanno aspettato all' ingresso della medina. La colazione è abbondante e curata. Ottima anche la cucina del ristorante, disponibile su richiesta anche in tarda serata.

Riad e personale accogliente

I ragazzi che gestiscono il Riad sono super accoglienti: il primo giorno ci hanno fornito delle informazioni sulla Medina e ogni volta che rientravamo nel Riad ci hanno offerto il the. Il cambio degli asciugamani ogni giorno!

Abbiamo soggiornato per quattro notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La stanza era grande e pulita. I ragazzi e la ragazza che lo gestiscono sono stati estremamente accoglienti e attenti a ogni nostra richiesta. La colazione, nella bellissima terrazza, è stata ottima e abbondante, ogni giorno diversa con piatti preparati da loro al momento. Ricorderemo sempre con piacere le serate in terrazza rinfrescate dalla brezza.

Era possibile cenare in Riad in terrazza, dove la sera c'era molto fresco, ma nonostante avessimo dato un orario, dall'ordinazione all'arrivo delle portate è passata un' ora. In po' troppa attesa. La struttura si sviluppa in verticale, ci sono un po' di scale anguste da salire e scendere. Molto gentile lo staff che porta il bagaglio in camera

Le bâtiment est magnifique et la décoration très soignée. Excellent accueil de la part de tout le staff, du thé à la menthe et du café sont offerts à longueur de journée. Possibilité de profiter d'un excellent repas sur place. On recommande vivement.

Très beau riad situé en plein cœur de l'ancienne médina de Fès, le personnel est au petit soin et a rendu notre séjour très agréable, je recommande !

Ens ha agradat molt el tracte personal, ja que tots ens han tractat molt amablement. A més, ens varen permetre deixar la motxilla després de fer el check out i estar-hi una estona descansant. Valorem positivament el fet que tenen servei de restaurant. Això ens va permetre sopar la primera nit, quan vàrem arribar tard i no coneixíem la ciutat. També valorem el fet que ens vàren proporcionar servei de taxi des de l'aeroport i ens acompanyaren caminant fins l'hotel, ja que a la medina no es pot circular i quan no la coneixes resulta difícil arribar-hi.

No ens ha agradat gens ni mica trobar-nos panderoles ("cucarachas") a l'habitació. Ha sigut molt desagradable. A més, no hi havia aire condicionat a les zones comunes i feia calor. El bany tenia les instal·lacions velles, rovellades i plenes de cal. Qualitat preu, jo esperava unes instal·lacions en millor condicions.

Cosiest Stay

The hosts were extremely welcoming and very kind. They helped us with knowledge of the local area, how not to get lost, and even supported us when there was a misunderstanding with the baggage drop-off at the property. They were always available, offering tea/coffee and answering any question with a smile. We felt very taken care of, and the meals at the riad were the best part! We definitely recommend staying at this place, and also having meals here too, as at night the surrounding area can be intimidating. Best breakfast we had in Morocco (stunning rooftop), and they were very kind to even make us a packed breakfast for our early check-out. Easily my favourite experience. Bonus tip: there is an ATM that works near the blue gate, very short walk.

The stay was perfect; this is just about Fes in general. I just want to warn future travellers that you must have cash on you at all times when in the medina and arriving to the Riad, as there will be people outside who will offer to help carry your bags, be aware that you need to tip/pay them even if your taxi driver to Fes has arranged for them to help you find your riad. It is a separate fee, so agree on a price before going with them.

Mohammed, Anas, Mohammed and Hajar were Great Hosts. Always ready to greet you at the front door. I enjoyed speaking with Hajar who was very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Be kind to them!

Amazing hospitality, can't fault it.Good breakfast, location, clean, terrace with a view. Huge thank you to Hajr,Muhammad 1,Muhammad 2, Anas, and the rest of the crew. We definitely recommend a visit.

We would have given more than full marks if possible. The service here was amazing - the truly warm welcome when we arrived, the relaxed and delicious breakfast on the roof terrace, the booking and escort to a taxi to the airport. We highly recommended staying here. One thing to note when arriving, it's much easier to find this place when coming into the Medina at the Blue Gate.

Heaven on a Budget

A fantastic stay in June. The rooms were spacious, clean with all amenities to hand. Our bedding and towels were replaced each day. The en suite was cleaned daily The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and every request was answered. The breakfasts were superb. I cant find fault with this place and would and probably will return there.

Like any Riad it has steep steps to climb up to your rooms. It’s not anything you can avoid, and the staff will help you with your bags. Not really a negative but just be aware of this.

Può sembrare un posto faticoso visto che ci sono scalini da fare ma poi scopri che è una caratteristica imprescindibile del posto e soprattutto pensi al personale che fa su e giù ed è pronto pure a portare cena e colazione fin su!!!

the staff were very friendly and helpful and they also served the guests mint tea anytime we want it. when we first reached the stay, mohammed introduced to us the surrounding areas and gave us tips in navigating around Fes, including what to avoid and what to look out for etc, which was really helpful. the rooftop area was also really nice to rest and hang out.

An absolute gem! This is one of my favorite places I’ve stayed, and as a full-time backpacker, that’s saying a lot. From the second we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Hajar, Muhammad, and the whole staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off outside the Medina, organized a private guided tour of the Medina, helped us wash a few items of clothing, and were always checking in to ask about our day and if we needed anything. Our favorite part was the amazing rooftop terrace with incredible views of the Medina. We spent hours up there during our stay! The food was excellent (highly recommend the Fassi meat tagine), and the free tea and coffee anytime was a great perk. The room and attached bathroom were large and very clean. The AC worked perfectly. It was also great to have a TV in the room. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely be staying here for any future trips to Fes.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et l’accueil de toute l’équipe. Un grand merci à Hajar pour ses conseils et ses explications très utiles sur la médina, qui nous ont permis de mieux découvrir la ville. Nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de laisser nos sacs à dos après notre séjour, ce qui est très pratique. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et la cuisine proposée sur place de très bonne qualité.

Clean and comfortable stay with beautiful rooms, common spaces, and rooftop with panoramic views. Truly every corner is decorated in detail.

The rooster in a neighboring yard that was calling very early in the morning. Nothing that can’t be fixed with earplugs.

Our room was small with one side of our full sized bed against the wall. Small shower was ~2’ x 2.5’. A/C was noisy. Narrow winding stairs to get to rooms; not good for anyone with mobility issues.

Muy lindo Riad

El alojamiento es muy bonito y las camas son cómodas. Las habitaciones son grandes. El baño es muy bonito también. Muy buena relación calidad precio (40 euros para dos personas por noche). Buen desayuno. Tiene buena ubicación si se quiere explorar las ventas de artesanías porque está a una cuadra de una de las ferias y relativamente cerca de las demás. El taxi a la estación de tren sale un euro por persona en los petit taxi. Hay que pagar en efectivo lo que se consumió en el hotel. Hay que subir varias escaleras angostas por lo que no es adecuado para personas con movilidad reducida, mi mamá tiene 77 años y fue un poco difícil para ella subir y bajar las escaleras.

A las 5:40 de la mañana se escucha el cantar de los gallos y desde esa hora ya no se puede dormir. Si van a tomar tours no tiene buena ubicación ya que hay que caminar 12 minutos para salir de la Médina (hasta donde hay transporte) y por el horario del desayuno (parte a las 8:30, pero nos lo sirvieron cerca de las 09:00, no se alcanza a llegar bien a tiempo (los tours que tomamos partían a las 9:30). En el camino por la Médina hacia el Riad te acosan ofreciendo acompañarte, en nuestro caso más de 10 personas nos siguieron para ello al llegar con las maletas. Si tienen maletas grandes quizá conviene alojar fuera de la Médina, ya que los autos no pueden ingresar y hay que caminar o que te lleven las maletas, en nuestro caso no fue problema pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta. En la comida que tuvimos en el hotel, nos sirvieron jugo de naranja artificial lo que es raro en Marruecos, generalmente te sirven jugo natural recién exprimido.

Abbiamo prenotato 5 minuti prima di presentarci poichè Riad Yamna dove avevamo la prenotazione era in overbooking. Ci ha accolto una signorina carinissima, gentile e disponibile. La camera piccolina ma coccola. La terrazza è un paradiso, veramente spettacolare. Sono sempre stati puntuali e gentili. Ci hanno prenotato il taxi dalla struttura all'aeroporto: 25 euro Riad consigliatissimo!!

Ci è dispiaciuto per il breakfast take away il giorno della partenza, che non è mai arrivato.
