Un séjour magnifique du début à la fin ,l’hôtel est superbe le cadre est très agréable et le service est à la hauteur de nos attentes. Toute l’équipe a été professionnelle, accueillante et attentive à nos besoins. Un grand merci tout particulièrement à Hassna , du service relation client, pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. Would recommend this hotel to people

This hotel was great. The room was comfortable, and I liked that it was all inclusive. The hotel is extremely close to the airport and the city Center. The highlight of the property remains the staff; all of them were kind and helpful. Special mention to Hasna from the public relations desk who offered to arrange for a birthday cake to be delivered to my friend’s room on her actual birthday.

I’m not sure this qualifies as a “didn’t like” but the food and the cocktails were just okay. The hairdryer in the room was weak, and I did note the lack of bathrobes.

A Pleasant Stay, but Falls Short of Five-Star Expectations

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the all-inclusive package was convenient. The rooms were spacious, which made for a comfortable stay. The pool staff were helpful making sure I was comfortable, Mohammed the lifeguard helped me select spaces with shades. Also it was my birthday and the hotel surprised me with a birthday cake which made my day special. Thank you.

While the hotel had friendly staff, spacious rooms and a convenient all-inclusive package, I felt the overall experience fell short of the five-star standard advertised. Based on my experiences at other five-star hotels, I would rate this property closer to four stars. Room amenities and cleanliness: The bathroom lacked basic amenities I would typically expect at a five-star property, such as cotton pads, cotton buds and a vanity kit. Only soap, body lotion and toilet paper were provided. Dressing gowns and slippers were also absent. More importantly, cleanliness needs improvement, as there were ants in the room and mosquito blood stains on the walls and ceiling. Housekeeping was inconsistent and the coffee station not consistently replenished. Minibar and all-inclusive offering: The minibar was empty despite a paid snack menu being available. Although the all-inclusive package covered meals, snacks and drinks, the beverage selection was limited, with no prosecco and only a small selection of cocktails, which were also quite weak. Poolside service could be improved, as guests had to walk to the bar for drinks rather than being regularly attended to by staff. I was also surprised that food was not permitted by the pool, as poolside dining and food service are common features at comparable resorts. Buffet restaurant and dining experience: The buffet offered a reasonable variety of food, which I appreciated, but the overall quality was average rather than exceptional. Drink service was also very slow, and I frequently had to flag down staff to have my wine or soft drink topped up. At other five-star hotels I have visited, dedicated drinks or wine service is often provided, with staff proactively checking on guests and replenishing their drinks. A more attentive and consistent service would make a significant difference to the dining experience. Overall, there are positive aspects to the hotel, particularly the friendly staff, spacious accommodation and à la carte.

The location of the property is nice, away from the main town so nice and quiet.

When we checked out of the hotel I left my gold necklace on the bedside table. (It was personalised with my daughter’s name, so special to me) We called the hotel to check they had it and after them checking with the cleaner they said there was no necklace found. Then proceeded to say the cleaner had been with them a while so they know she isn’t lying. I 100% left my necklace at the hotel, my own fault. I left it on the bedside table, made a mental note to put it back on after my shower and completely forgot! Lesson learned on my end. Such a shame because aside from that it wasn’t a terrible hotel. A little basic and not much to do but based on what’s happened and dishonesty I would not recommend this hotel. Or if you do stay put your belongings on the safe!

We love this hotel, it is our third stay and we were welcomed back with the choice of two rooms. The staff are friendly,and go out of their way to make your stay memorable . The food was even better this year , lots of choices in the main restaurant and if snacks and fries are your choice , the snack bar by the fun pool offers a wide variety from a late breakfast to tacos and burgers , from 10 until , think, 5 pm. There are two large pools , the fun pool has all the activities based around it , the other is a chilled area to just kick back and relax . We had a great stay and would return in a heartbeat . Well done to all the team, you do a great job.

Zizo, ahmad, achraf the bar manager are the best. I want express my satisfaction with cocktails in the lobby bar. Snack bar and everywhere. Excellence cocktails, wonderful service in the restaurants in the evening, clean tables and you glass never empty, great food as well thanks to zina and chef moukhtar for their help and flexibility. Absolutely amazing first anniversary holiday this hotel does not disappoint. I would highly recommend this hotel staff are truly amazing they look after you nothing is too much trouble. Entertainment amazing food amazing people amazing can not fault anything! Also the beds are so comfy and it’s so spotlessly clean! Do visit the little shop too in the lobby a little treasure he is so lovely and knows his stuff on things! Thank you all for making our holiday truly remarkable we will defo be coming back ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Strongly recommend

This hotel more than meets its expectations. It is great value for money and the staff here are amazing. It is with no doubt what makes this hotel special. There are ample activities and no need to set out towels at 0600hrs even when the hotel is full. The food is great and varied with good fish dishes for those that like to explore. We are currently in our last two days of a ten day break and would seriously recommend. A very special mention to:- Ghizlane & Kaoutar on the public relations desk. You are exceptional... Yassine on reception who has amazing qualities and skills. As mentioned, all the staff are great but you guys have gone over and above and the hotel should be proud of your commitment and service certainly over the last 48+ hours.

Fabulous short break

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel.The staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The food was excellent ; freshly prepared, delicious and plentiful and vegetarians/vegans were well provided for.Coffee was good.Leisure facilities were fabulous ; great gym and indoor pool.Quiet outdoor poolside relaxing.Shuttle bus useful.Adults only facility a splendid idea during summer school holidays.Thank you for a lovely stay.

Le spa a malheureusement été le gros point négatif de notre séjour.

Amazing stay

I had such a brilliant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The hotel itself is excellent, with a lovely atmosphere, great facilities and, most importantly, some genuinely caring and helpful staff. A special shout-out to Emma and the Guest Relations Manager, who were absolutely amazing throughout my stay. I injured myself while playing water polo, and from the moment it happened, they did nothing but help and make sure I was okay. Their kindness, care and support really meant a lot and made a difficult situation much easier. The animation team were also great. I think the atmosphere can depend on the group of guests staying at the time, so some days can be quieter than others. However, the week I was there happened to have a fantastic group of guests, which meant there was plenty going on, and I met a big group of people who I made some great memories and friendships with. A couple of small things could be improved. The evening entertainment starts quite late, and it can sometimes be difficult to get a drink in the evening when it gets busy. The pool bar, however, was great for food — everything is made fresh to order and was really enjoyable. They offer this for breakfast and lunch till 6pm. Every day the towel man ensured we had the same Sun-bed, he didn’t go a day without remembering this. Also worth a try at the Morrocon restaurant on site. But you do have to pay for drinks separate. Overall, there are very few faults with this hotel. The staff genuinely make the experience, and I left with some amazing memories and new friends. I would happily return and would definitely recommend it!

Amazing short stay

The hotel was spotless, staff were very friendly. Location is not far from the airport 20/25 mins private transfer. The rooms are very spacious and clean, cleaners are fab too! The atmosphere at nighttime for the entertainment is good, very good acts and gets everyone going. During the day it’s very tranquil and calm, they have activities during the day. Evening the noise is very minimal after the entertainment has finished. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Only down fall, service can be slow at the bar near the pool, lobby bar is faster. Could do with more parasols. food was delicious and plenty of options to choose from.

Great holiday overall …(and I’m quite fussy)

My wife and stayed for 10 nights. The hotel is beautifully presented, well kept, and the staff work hard across the site. The pool is well kept and a good temperature. (Other places have kept it too cold). Sunbeds were always available. We enjoyed the spa twice and found it good value for money. Our room was very nice and the maids kept it clean. We had a strange smell in our room though…Drains? The daytime entertainment staff are great although sometimes we found the English hard to understand. I admire anyone who can speak more than one language but please slow down! We stayed by the livelier pool. The food on the whole is very good but queuing for morning coffee every day became very tiresome (surely there is a better way?) and also when there is a special food on offer (kebabs etc) the queue for that blocks access to most of the other food choices (surely there is a better way?) We found the range of food on offer very good. We visited the restaurant for a special evening. It wasn’t special. Food wasn’t particularly Moroccan and we were in and out in 40 minutes. We had the offer to go again… we didn’t. The cocktails are “mostly” ok! I’ve never had an “old fashioned caramel” and won’t ever have one again! The level of consistency in cocktail making across the site is an issue. In the end we stayed with a standard mojito and then something with coke. The snack bar is very good! The choices of cocktails could be expanded. Evening entertainment is very good though staying for 10 night meant 3 nights were exactly the same which is a shame but understandable. The staff serving drinks work very hard. Much appreciated. We had an issue getting some extra water for our room one evening which resulted in a rant from me. It was resolved and the public relations team contacted me the next day to apologise, explain, and provide a bottle of wine and chocolates. It was handled very well. The little shop on site is great and we were served well. Reception staff were very helpful alongside porters and our trips out for a ballon ride, shopping in the Medina, and a taxi to a beautiful restaurant in the city were all handled very well. Thank you. The weather was perfect. Overall, we had a great wonderful time and my comments which seem critical are from someone who is quite fussy. With a few tweaks this review would get 5 stars. 4.5 wasn’t an option. We enjoyed Morocco and our stay very much. Thank you to the hotel staff for all your hard work in making our holiday a good one!

This hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff are you wonderful they keep this hotel working, zina, achraf, Ahmed zizo kaoutar especially the manager of the bar achraf and zizo they are the best, the cocktails 10/10 the alcohol is amazing here, the housekeeping and reception everyone is just wonderful the food in the buffet and the service is just amazing, everything is just so clean and the stay was so smooth I don’t want to leave, thank you to everyone

Location is remote but that’s why picked it, the atmosphere was great from start to finish, rooms clean no issues, good value, place is kept very clean and tidy, noise no issues to be honest if you go adult only got to expect some noise, they do have party pool and a quiet pool, service reception always polite and helpful, 2 lovely ladies always available to help from public relations with a smile, the food was good, good mix I liked some days better than others the desserts were good and always had ice cream, the dining hall staff Akram was amazing he always quick polite and smiling, when he wasn’t there Anas stepped in. The drinks services in the evenings would not be the same without the One and Only ZiZo he was so good he is the hotels secret to a fabulous holiday. If you like activities the in house activities where good, highly recommend the Spa well worth the money. We also did some trips ones to recommend definitely try the hot air balloon ride I booked through trip advisor was so good amazing sun rise, Para Gliding was crazy but well worth it, the guys liked the karting and quad biking although quad biking a little to slow for us, the Souks was good with guide didn’t get time to browse but worth it to not get lost, we did venture back on own using free bus from hotel my tip would be to stay on straight line and return same way lol fresh juice is a must, the water fall in Atlas mountain is a hard climb so if not good with that don’t go. We also did the sun set fire show evening dinner with Camel ride which was good but riding a camel once is enough. We were lucky to see the partial eclipse while there. Overall had the best time

A Stay to Remember

I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, but this one was genuinely unique in many ways. A spotless place with an absolutely beautiful atmosphere and stunning views, where I enjoyed everything from the suite and the delicious, fresh food to the lobby bar, restaurant, buffet, snack bar and pool bar. The team was more than friendly attentive, approachable and always there to help when needed, but never in a way that felt pushy or uncomfortable. Thanks a lot to the restaurant manager Zina, who made my stay even more special. That smile on her face every time I encountered her, her willingness to help and the way she always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect a different level of customer service that I rarely come across elsewhere. She’s called Zina for a reason! ❤️ Wishing her all the best and a very successful journey ahead. Ik kijk er nu al naar uit om terug te komen!! Until next time! JO

J'ai passé un séjour magnifique, bien au-delà de mes attentes L'accueil a été très professionnel, comme d'habitude. Un grand merci à Mustapha à la réception. Au restaurant, pour le petit-déjeuner, je vous recommande de demander Zineb : elle est particulièrement serviable et disponible. Tout le personnel est vraiment sympathique, et un grand salutation à Achraf, le responsable du bar. La décoration de l'établissement est moderne et l'endroit est très calme. Je vous conseille vivement cette expérience

Un séjour exceptionnel au Be Live Collection Marrakech Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour au Be Live Collection Marrakech. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis par l'équipe de la réception, et nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Ayoub pour son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse et son attention tout au long de notre séjour. L'ensemble des prestations proposées par l'établissement a largement dépassé nos attentes Restauration & bars du buffet principal riche et varié au snack idéal pour une pause gourmande, tout était délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le Lobby Bar, parfait pour se détendre, ainsi que le Sports Bar qui offre une super ambiance. Service d'étage un grand bravo à l'équipe du ménage leur travail est irréprochable. Ils font toujours le petit effort supplémentaire pour que la chambre reste d'une propreté impeccable jour après jour. Ambiance générale du lobby magnifiquement entretenu jusqu'aux espaces extérieurs, tout est pensé pour le confort et le bien-être des clients. Terrible hotel and experience!

Do not stay at this hotel! The service was unbelievably slow from start to finish. Housekeeping even made our beds without putting sheets on them. The food was disgusting and often undercooked. When we requested mosquito spray, we waited over two hours. We had to call multiple times and make repeated trips to reception before anyone finally brought it. This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The entire experience was terrible, and I strongly urge others not to waste their time or money here. There are far better places to stay. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I had to warn others so they don't have the same disappointing experience.

Ahmed and zizo were amazing from lobby bar in the night, oualid from the snack bar and all of the restaurant staff were great. We have had an amazing time here at Believe, lived it all, will be back.

Lovely Hotel, great atmosphere.

Before reading, this hotel is predominately for young adults or young at heart adults - like us. Very rare in AI adults only hotels we feel in the minority - over 60. When checking in you have to pay the equivalent of £32 tax to enter Morocco and also £80 deposit for the room. This deposit will be returned if nothing in the room is damaged etc. First of all, you cannot check into your room before 3pm. So regardless of what time you arrive, be aware about this. We got here about 11am and thought we'd be by pool in 30 minutes - not so. We had to trudge around for 4 hours. We were able to check in, get our towel cards etc but not the room. So, if like us you have an early flight, pack some swimwear and sun cream in your hand luggage so at least you can relax by the pool until the room is ready. Many people complained about this, but it didn't change anything. A few weeks before arriving I emailed the hotel to request a ground floor room, this was granted, so thank you for that. The room, absolutely spot on. Very modern, very clean with just about everything you need. Separate toilet, bath and shower, although in the same room. Hair dryer in the bathroom that was very good. Lots of cupboard/drawer space, although do bring extra hangers. There is an excellent iron and ironing board as well as a safe. We had a double bed which was very comfy, a good sized wall mounted tv. A fridge that was only stocked with water daily. Also a good kettle in the room. Air conditioning was permanently running and it never let us down. Two pools, one to relax more without the games etc, this pool had the pool bar. We didn't use this pool after the first day as the other one suited us more. The second pool has constant music and something happening all through the day. The music was a wide genre but every day it was a great selection - hats off to the DJ. Plenty of available beds, you don't have to reserve one, but if you want that particular spot you may have to. There are also four poster ‘beds’ around the pool, no need to book, just plonk your towels on them. The entertainment staff worked extremely hard during the day. At least they didn’t have to perform of a night as the evening entertainment was probably all in all the best we have encountered on a holiday. A real party atmosphere every night although it can take time to build up. There was always a guitarist to start the night. Food is very good, very fresh and well presented. There is a small air conditioned area inside and this gets very packed in the first 30 minutes of each session. So either join the rush or wait 30-45 minutes after opening otherwise you sit in the outside part. Breakfast wasn't much to write home about, they did fresh omelettes but the queue was always long so never waited to try them. Afternoon and evening meals were very good. There are only two coffee making machines in the restaurant which means either waiting at the table or waiting in a queue at the machine. The wait and queues aren't long, but can get frustrating. The speciality restaurant on site was exceptional. You can only book this once during your stay, which is good and bad. Good because it gives everyone the chance to use it, and bad because once you tried it, you want to use it again. So if you do book this hotel, book the restaurant. Alcohol is OK, locally sourced both lager and spirits, although the speciality restaurant offers a couple of named lagers for around 6 Euros. We played ‘Glass Bingo’ when ordering a beer, as you never knew what glass your beer would be served in. It could be a straight tumbler, a whisky glass, a half-pint mug with a handle, something that resembled a small vase. We even had something that resembles a large champagne flute. Cocktails were also subject to this game. This was purely down to the staffing levels, as there was never enough staff to do basic bar work/waiting and cleaning tables/glasses. However, if you ask for a large drink, you will get a large glass. The Snack Bar provided various fresh food during the day. This was also the area for the evening entertainment. There were never enough tables set up here at the start of the evening, so you would wait around for one of the waiters to stop waiting on and bring a table and chairs from another part of the complex. Why those tables and chairs weren't available at the start of the evening as this happened every night we were there, is anyone's guess. Staff, I feel sorry for them. They are definitely overworked and understaffed. 4 people to look after 200 - 250 people of a night, they have to serve, collect glasses, clean tables etc. So many times people had to wait longer than necessary to be served either at the bar or at a table. This was also a feature in the restaurant, far too often tables were not cleaned after use and when they were, there was no cutlery etc. Twice I had to get the cutlery myself during sittings. I must emphasise this is not laziness on the staff, this is due to understaffing in my opinion. There were times they seemed to be talking to each other a bit much, but they were probably taking a rest and I cannot blame them for this. The Internet was a bit iffy, constant buffering by the pool. Pretty stable but slow elsewhere. Flies, now we read flies everywhere. Yes there are quite a few but around the outside bar areas, not at the tables though. Never saw one in the restaurant which was our main concern. In a nutshell, this is a lovely hotel, great staff, great food, great atmosphere but is let down by the staffing levels. If just a couple more were employed in the restaurant and bar areas it would be even better.

A great hotel! Positives- Just a small hotel but with loads of space and lovely grounds. No rush for sun loungers at all. Staff are brilliant- especially around the pool. Food was really tasty. Rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. Drinks service is great, and staff are happy to change cocktail ingredients on request. Negatives- none really. Some people complaining about the honey bees (they aren't wasps), but they really aren't a problem unless you have a sugary drink uncovered by the swim up pool. Worth taking a cup with lid, which the staff are more than happy to keep full.

Ahmed and zizo are the best. Always looking after us. They are always passing around with very good cocktail and shots. Always making sure we had drinks on our table with a big smile ❤️. Good selection is wine, and alcohol. Food; Excellent food with a lot of options flavours. by the way they have very fresh meat and fresh fish. The service in à la carte restaurant is elegant. Exceptional service in buffet restaurant in the evening. Always making sure our glasses full. The glassware as well are clean tables clean, cutlery clean. Thanks to the restaurant manager in the evening Zina and Ashraf the bar manager you are doing very great work.

Great hard working happy staff at the snack bar

I have to say from start to finish the hotel has been fantastic this our first time in morocco 🇲🇦 and found the moroccan people so friendly and kind. the room was beautiful the food was great entertainment at night made it. at the large pool. plenty of sun beds clean fresh towels every day. but what really made the holiday was the staff at the snack bar Oualid ,Anas and the rest of the staff always had a warm welcome for you would go above and beyond to make sure your drink was perfect just the way you liked it. Mbappé. (Anas) was the cocktail king. made perfectly every time. Qualify also was so nice to everyone he met. both boys a credit to this hotel. Will definitely be back. paddy and debbie. scotland

This is my first time in Morocco we enjoyed our time the staff was superb could not do enough for you especially OUALID nothing was to to much trouble for him and looked after us.will definitely be back.

The whole pool side team are amazing. Khakis at the pool snack bar was brilliant never had to move and nothing was too much trouble and really friendly and polite. Food/drink and service were top notch. Pool entertainment was also brilliant.

3 night getaway

Although we only arrived on Thursday and flew home this morning, it genuinely felt like we’d been away for much longer. 🏨 The Hotel The rooms were spotless, and the staff were constantly cleaning the outside areas, pathways and steps throughout the day. We stayed in Pool Suite 4103, which was absolutely beautiful—so spacious and a lovely room to unwind in. ⭐ The Staff The staff really are a credit to the hotel. Every single member of the team worked incredibly hard and were always friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Asan at the snack bar, who made me a delicious margarita even though it wasn’t on the menu. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. 🍴 Food & Drinks We found the food and drinks to be of a really good standard with plenty of choice. The Caesar salad, chicken panini and burgers from the snack bar were all delicious, and the pizzas looked amazing too. 🎉 Entertainment The pool party was great fun, and there was a good variety of entertainment each evening. 🚌 Exploring Marrakesh We used the hotel’s complimentary shuttle bus to the souk, booking it the day before at reception. We travelled on the 9:30am bus and returned on the 12:30pm shuttle. The buses leave promptly, so don’t be late for your return. Going earlier meant it was much quieter, although it became much busier later in the day. The souk is absolutely huge, so it’s easy to lose your bearings, and crossing the roads is probably the biggest challenge! My advice is to politely but confidently say “No, thank you” if anyone approaches you selling items or offering henna, and they’ll soon move on. 💡 A Few Handy Tips ✔️ On check-out, you’ll be asked to wait around 10 minutes before returning to reception to collect your room deposit before leaving for the airport. ✔️ The ATM in the hotel was easy to use, and reception were happy to change larger notes into smaller ones for tipping. ✔️ Don’t overlook the little shop on site—it was surprisingly well priced and had some lovely gifts and essentials. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Amazing 4 night stay

First of all would like to thank all the staff at the hotel couldn't fault anything about those beautiful people , so helpful. happy. caring and most of all professional, always happy to please wow wow wow...entertainment was ok too much dance showws am afraid for us need more singing groups or just a good moving singer would be amazing but wouldn't stop us booking again to stay..food was fabulous. only one negative comment is being pensioners with health issues after travelling from 02.30 am didn't get our room until 5 hours later after arriving.. thank you all at Be live collection for my birthday cake and song 🙏 ❤️ 💙

zizo, Ahamd, and Achraf are the best. good customer service. The Service in Buffet restaurant in the evening perfect. À la restaurant is wonderful as well. The menu is variety and all the food is fresh as well as the restaurant to be buffet the meat is fresh, fish fresh and everything there. in the lobby bar and the restaurant in the evening what I like they are always making sure your glasses is never empty and always checking if you need anything so they can Assist. as I mentioned that the food is great if you have any allergy or literary instructions just inform the chef or the seniors staff and they will be absolutely happy to make you everything you want. The restaurant manager Zena in the evening I saw her always making sure greeting all the guest running around checking everything Wishes when you find it in all inclusive hotels or clubs hotels I’m very satisfied this stay. and I will be absolutely be back. As well, I want to mention it Good selection of the cocktails just wonderful.

Great stay🥰 with F&B team

If Zizo and Ahmad are around you will absolutely be super happy and satisfied. The service in the restaurant beige is excellent. Food is great in the evening and lunch time. À la carte restaurant is perfect as well. Fresh meat and fish. Clean tables in the restaurants. And in the snack bar as well. Food in the snack is just good as the staff. The team always smiling. And friendly especially in the restaurant at dinner time, snack bar, lobby bar and pool bar.

I didn't want to leave!

I have just returned from the most, magical experience at BeLive. I have so many positives that i will divide everything into categories. Arrival: We arrived at the hotel and was warmly greeted by a gentleman in traditional Moroccan attire, pouring us mint tea and offering us biscuits whilst we filled in forms. After experiencing this for the first time, can we please have this in ALL hotels. It made everything a strong, positive start. Well done to Be Live Marrakesh! After filling in our forms we were given our wrist bands immediately and told whilst we waited for our room to be finalised, we could use the pool facilities, have drinks or enjoy a lunch buffet straight away. We tucked into a buffet and had many options to choose from. Room: The room we had was immaculate. We were given a fresh 2 litre bottle of water , the mattress was super spongy and our first night's sleep was very comfortable. Sports Bar: The Sports Bar left a very positive, lasting impression on my partner and I. I had booked this hotel once i had seen they had a sports bar with a pool table (My partner plays for a team back home), and sky sports, enabling us to watch the world cup games. Mustafa the Barman at the Sports Bar greeted us very warmly and absolutely nothing was too much of an ask. He provided us with cocktails. ice cold beers, sometimes we were the only ones there and even if it was just us, he remained professional and friendly rather than skiving off and acting bored. Mustafa was a real gentleman and it is thanks to him, we had a very memorable and enjoyable time watching the World cup final, i have already begged my partner to let us book BeLive for 2030 because of this! Swim up bar/Pool Bar: Something i had never experienced before was the swim up bar. I absolutely loved this addition, it was a quiet bar and i am not known for being a quiet person, but i could absolutely appreciate the serenity and tranquillity of the swim up bar. The pool bar staff were brilliant. Moumou and Maryam in particular although, even the lovely gentleman collecting the glasses was someone i'd never seen so happy in their job. Moumou would let us have drinks off the menu and you never waited any longer than 2 minutes for a drink. I really appreciated how tight the teamwork was with the bar staff, other members from different areas came to help the busy areas and made it very manageable. Entertainment: I will combine entertainment, Activities and main pool into one because i think that's the best way to describe the main pool area. Entertaining! Everyone was welcome at the main pool area, the music wasn't too loud or too much bass. The activities were not only fun to watch but you didn't feel pressured into joining in. All pool side staff were extremely helpful. If you wanted a float, they would do their best to provide you with one, if you wanted a parasol open, they would help you. All areas were kept incredibly clean, the activities were a lot of fun and very engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed aqua aerobics most days. For the evening entertainment they had a fantastic programme that was very versatile and good for everyone. The entertainment was incredibly popular and bar staff would often have to provide extra seats but this was never a problem. We were thoroughly spoilt with live bands (The Reggae band were absolutely amazing!), Moroccan themed dance shows, karaoke (I especially loved that!), and a latin dance show that had everyone up. The Dj was fantastic at playing everyone's requests. The entertainment alone made this Hotel a cut above the rest. Snack Bar: The Snack bar is worth visiting for fresh omelettes every day. The food is tasty, all cooked fresh and they will do their best to accommodate! Anas and Oualid are efficent, friendly and very welcoming. As a self confessed caffeine addict their iced coffee's every morning went down a treat. I even nicknamed the snack bar "Starbucks" as from 10am till 12pm it was constant iced coffee. Every drink made in the snack bar was delicious, there was a wait at times but you honestly couldn't complain when Oualid and Anas spent time with every single guest giving them the best experience. A-La Carte Restaurant was a memorable experience.The food was delicious and made for a sophisticated experience, as opposed to the consistent buffet. I really enjoyed the fact that this was included in the all inclusive package and the staff did everything they could to make it very special and exquisite. The main restaurant had tasty, varied options every day. I enjoyed fresh fish every day, i loved the chocolate fountain and found every member of the staff at the buffet restaurant to be incredibly accomodating. Salma in the lobby bar was always very smiley and welcoming as well as the petite girl with the curly hair. The Shuttle Bus is incredibly efficient and easy to use, it takes you to the main part of marrakech where the souks are. You do not need a random guide as we found out, just cross the road from the Kabiba mosque and follow the hoards of tourists and you will soon find yourself in the lively plethora of Jem El Fna! Ensure you book the bus one day in advance though to avoid shortage of seats. Now for special mentions... Zinab: Zinab as a female boss absolutely smashes it! She is friendly and yet carries the most utmost of professionalism around her. I watched her glide effortlessly across the restaurant floor, welcoming everyone. She was so lovely to talk to and when she said "It is so lovely to have you here." It came across as genuine and sincere. She did not micromanage, but also got involved with any task. Zizou: Zizou is one of the most highly regarded members of the BeLive team for a good reason. I nicknamed him "Mr Happy" because he literally bounced between the lobby bar and the snack bar with a huge grin on his face. He remembered every order from every customer and his unique way of preparing drinks and distributing them was mesmerising! Osama- Last of all and absolutely not least, Osama. I did 6 months as a entertainer for Tui years ago and Osama is the type of entertainer i only wish i could have been. Osama was not just an entertainer, he carried out any task! We met him when watching the world cup in the sports bar and he quickly befriended me and my partner. My partner and him played pool and when i mentioned learning some basic Arabic (Darija) he sat with me one of the days,by the pool side and taught me Arabic for a good half an hour. It may have been a small gesture to him,but to me it was a lifelong skill i can now continue and he encouraged me to practice in the hotel. Not only that but Osama requested to join us for lunch twice which made us feel like a group of friends, rather than guests. I now feel like a member of the BeLive family thanks to Osama. Osama told us he had been with BeLive for 5 years and i sincerely hope the team realise how lucky they are to have him, because if he wants a career change, many Arabic schools in Cambridge would only be too happy to have him! I was disheartened by only one factor and that was the way some of the guests treated the hotel staff. I witnessed very little pleases and thank yous at times and yet the staff remained smiley and courteous, throughout. I applaud them and hope guests who have spoken rudely to the hard working members at BeLIve, are ashamed of themselves. I know i would be! To conclude, an honourable mention goes to the wonderful reception staff and hotel management who let us keep our deposit, despite me accidentally getting trapped in the shower door. Unfortunately some ledge was broken and this made me panic that we would lose our £80 deposit but it was not to be. I realise it might have been a small gesture but it meant a lot. Thank you for a wonderful start to my 6 week break before i go back to teaching! Becci the red haired, badly speaking Arabic, dancing girl and Jake (Jack Grealish lookalike :D).
