Genieten met uitzicht op zee

De locatie en het dakterras. Alles is op loopafstand. Uitzicht op zee, en hier je dag starten met een heerlijk vers ontbijtje. Dat is echt vakantie! Het was lekker schoon en een fijn bed. Wij zouden hier zeker terugkomen.

Het was best warm in de nacht dus een airco ipv waaier zou welkom zijn, maar dat wisten we vooraf natuurlijk wel bij het boeken maar wellicht handig om op te letten als je in warme periode gaat. En in de nacht heb je soms wel geluid van de rooftop restaurants in de omgeving die luide muziek hebben. Dit gaat niet heel lang door dus dat was voor ons geen probleem.

Fijn verblijf

Sfeervol hotel met heerlijk dakterrasje met uitzicht over zee. Lekker ontbijt dat geserveerd wordt waar je maar wil. Heel vriendelijk personeel. De kamer en badkamer zijn niet al te groot maar goed te doen. Diverse restaurants vlakbij.

Très bon accueil par le personnel, emplacement idéal, Riad tres bien restauré avec gout et sobriété. Vue mer sur le toit terrasse. Chambre magique sur le toit terrasse. Nous avons adoré.

Quirky and welcoming place with incredible views of the Atlantic from the terrace.

We had a wonderful stay. Mary and the team were so welcoming. The highlight was the balcony and the view of the Atlantic - such a perfect place for breakfast.

Delight FULL. - A stay that has made my 80 year old Mum feel young, and my heart full!

I'm pretty speechless (doesn't happen often) and don't know where to start with how utterly wonderful, divine, memorable, warm, friendly, comfortable, kind, beautiful, well-equipped, scenic, 5 star location in the Medina, whilst being quiet, Dar Adul is. Mary, the owner has taken a prime location and building, with the roof terrace, stunning sea views to die for, retained the charm, upgraded it with mod-cons (and some amazing wifi) and kitted the accommodation with everything you could ask for, decorated it with most stunning local art and Moroccan furniture and a friendly, professional, wonderful, caring team (shout out Mohammed and Said) that elevate it a stay that it's really hard to say goodbye to. My second time to Essaouira, last time I was solo but this time I brought my 80 year old Mum and wanted her to experience the heart of the charismatic medina but was a tad worried, given her age with the notorious tricky buildings and potential pitfalls etc...Well Dar Adul was the dream. Easy for her to get around in (even up to the roof terrace), bright, comfortable everything, a pleasure to rest in, in-between gallivanting and with always someone on-hand with a smile if she (or I) needed anything and to witness how bold and joyful and adventurous it made her, even in this new, foreign place was the best gift to me. We were spoilt rotten! THANK YOU! Turns out I wasn't speechless!

La vue des terrasses est magnifique, le personnel est aux petits soins et l’emplacement parfait pour se déplacer à pieds.

Dar bellissimo e personale fantastico

La struttura è molto bella e il personale è fantastico! Sia la proprietaria Mary che tutti i ragazzi che lavorano in struttura sono stati gentili e disponibili ad aiutarci in qualsiasi cosa. Ci sono tutte le cose necessarie al soggiorno, ottime lenzuola e cuscini, asciugamani in abbondanza, il frigo in camera e un letto comodissimo. La colazione è preparata al momento ed è buonissima, ci sono degli spazi comuni molto belli e per ogni necessità, da divani comodi all’interno a un terrazzo molto accogliente e da cui si vede il mare e la Skala.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage und ist von innen super schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles komplett sauber und es gibt eine tolle Aussicht vom Dach aus.

Wonderful stay in a stylish, friendly riad in a great location

The property was unique- lovely artwork, individually designed rooms and lots of comfortable seating inside with a tasteful terrace overlooking the sea. However, what makes Dar Adul exceptional is the owner, Mary, and staff- Mohamed, Saiid, Khalid and Amina who were so kind, helpful and friendly.

Perfect place to stay in Essaouira

Everything was perfect , you feel very welcome . The rooms are confortable and clean . The breakfast is nice . Nothing to complain about .

Très bon accueil de l'équipe du Dar Adul. Très bonne installation dans notre chambre et très bonne communication avec le personnel. Très bon petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. On a pu laisser nos affaires dans une pièce du riad après avoir quitté notre chambre et en attendant de quitter Essaouira pour un dernier tour dans les souks. Riad très bien placé dans la médina et très calme la nuit.

Rien, tout était bien. On se sent un peu comme chez nous 🙂.

Everything about this property was truly special. The aesthetics, facilities, location, and rooms all contributed to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were genuinely kind and well-spoken, making us feel cared for. Breakfast was absolutely delightful, and the terrace overlooking the sunset created a magical moment for us. It truly was the highlight of our trip, leaving us with cherished memories.

Sehr nettes Team,symphatische Chefin,wunderbar eingerichtet,Dachterrasse ein Traum mit freiem Blick auf den Atlantik,leicht zu finden.Zum 70.Geburtstag meines Mannes gab es sogar Luftballons und Girlanden.Wir waren sehr gerührt - nochmals VIELEN DANK für Alles

Eigentlich alles,bis auf die Größe des Zimmers( wir hatten allerdings auch das Kleinste aller Zimmer).Bisschen eng für 2 Koffer,aber die Stimmung im Riad macht das Alles wieder wett.Von uns aus: Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Riad

Un séjour absolument magnifique ! J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’endroit, sa décoration soignée et son ambiance chaleureuse. Le personnel est adorable, très accueillant et toujours aux petits soins. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse avec sa superbe vue sur la mer, un vrai bonheur pour se détendre. Une très belle expérience que je recommande vivement, et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe ainsi qu’à la propriétaire pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leur attention.

Excelente ubicación... Riad bonito con preciosas vistas dede la terraza. Se ve el constante trabajo y dedicación de su anfitriona Mary. Su personal es dedicado, amable siempre bien dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Todos fueron conmigo excepcionales, Khalid, Said, Khalid 2, y Mohamed.. así como la cocinera de los desayunos. Gracias por hacer de mi estancia inmejorable. La habitación era amplia bien decorada y con colchón y ropa de cama y baño de calidad. Volvería sin dudarlo. Shukran. 🫂🫂🫂🫂

Un très beau Ryad au cœur de la médina

Le Riad est magnifique et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, les chambres sont incroyables, spacieuses et confortables. Le roof top offre une vue sur les remparts et la mer, en résumé c’est un super Riad à réserver sans hésitation, hyper bien situé dans la médina. L’accueil est incroyable, on a apprécié le thé sur la terrasse dans l’après midi et le petit déjeuner était parfait. Merci à tous pour cette belle expérience !

Our family had such a lovely stay at Dar Adul. The location was excellent - close to everything but also really quiet at night. We stayed in the family suite which was spacious and very comfortable. The bedding was lovely and we were given lots of towels for our stay! The breakfasts were delicious and enormous but best of all was Mary the owner and her incredible staff. They were so warm, friendly and fun! We really enjoyed talking with them in English, French, Spanish and Berber hahaha!!! We really hope to be back!

Une superbe expérience, je recommande vivement ! Le Riad Dar Adul est un véritable havre de paix. Le cadre est magnifique et le service irréprochable. Le gros plus : Le petit-déjeuner préparé par Amina,un pur délice chaque matin ! L'accueil : Un grand merci à Khalid pour sa grande disponibilité et sa réactivité face à toutes nos demandes. I cannot recommend this Dar enough. It's beautiful. The communal spaces are lovely and the room was exceptional. The staff were friendly and informative. The view from the roof terrace was stunning. We had heavy sea mist/ fog whilst we stayed but sitting overlooking the sea and sunset was simply magical. Essaouira was lovely and if we make it back to this beautiful place we would definitely try and stay at dar Adul again.

Beautiful riad in a perfect location, right in the heart of Essaouira and within walking distance of all the main attractions, restaurants, cafés, and the beach. My family had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed their time here. The staff went above and beyond to make them feel welcome and were incredibly attentive throughout their stay. Highly recommended!

What I really liked the place was the terrace where I could enjoy breakfast and the views. The rooms were spacious and very large bathrooms.

Le petit déjeuner et la gentillesse d'Amina, l'accueil de Saïd. La décoration intérieure est magnifique.

L'humidité dans la chambre et l'odeur très tenace malgré un ventilateur et un déshumidificateur vétuste qui fonctionnaient non stop et la météo au top fin avril (temps sec et venteux, 21°). Peu de place dans la chambre pour ouvrir les valises. La 2e nuit impossible de dormir avant 1h du matin à cause de nos voisins de chambre italiens qui parlaient très fort, nous avons dû crier plusieurs fois pour qu'ils s'arrêtent, comme dans tous les riads l'isolation pas au top mais personne pour intervenir. Nous avons passé trois jours et deux nuitées, la propriétaire Mary n'est venue nous demander si tout allait bien qu'au moment de notre départ pour nous demander un avis sur Booking...

Une expérience exceptionnelle

Tout est super vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse face a la mer. La chambre très bien décorée avec une super literie. Le Riad est très beau. Mais surtout merci à tout le personnel très charmant avec un petit plus pour Said ! Je reviendrais c’est sur. Merci encore

Ein sehr schön gelegenes Riad mit Blick aufs Meer von der Dachterrasse, Sonnenuntergang. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und humorvoll. Sie halfen uns auf jede erdenkliche Weise. Besonders Said und Mohammed kümmerten sich sehr um uns und erfüllten jeden Wunsch.
